Badger Mountain Ranch Apartments

My husband and I rented an apartment through Badger Mountain Apartments for approximately 3 months. We wanted to make sure the apartments were nice, because we rented site unseen. When the time came to put our notice in(we purchased a house, we did a walk through (for moving out) with the same employee who did our original walk through when we moved in.
We signed papers, stating our fees. We then received our security deposit, which was $125 short. There was no bill giving a break down of the refund. My husband then called a spoke with the employee whom did our walk out. She told my husband it sounded like a cleaning fee, and that our apartment was spotless. In addition she stated the manager must've went back and added it on her own. She told my husband she would have the manager call him back. That never happened. Instead the employee called back, leaving a message with a phone number for an off sit accounts receivable department. I called those headquarters, and they let me know there was nothing they could do.
I then called back to Badger Mountain Apartments leaving an additional message. Immediately after I hung up, I called back. To which the manager rudely told me that her employee had never done a walk out by herself, that our apartment wasn't clean, and we were being charged. She continuously interrupted me. She did not want to take responsibility for this mistake.I have now reached out to corporate head quarters to handle this matter.
Clearly the manager (whom I have left unnamed on purpose) had charged us money without our knowledge, and after our walk through. The employee has stated several times, there was no need for an additional charge. This manager, is attempting to steal from us. I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex to my enemy.

I took over someone's lease and lived in these apartments for about 4 months from September-December 2015. When I moved into the apartment the refrigerator did not work. It took them a week to fix it so I had no working refrigerator for a week. I received a phone call a few months later stating that I owed around $800 for water, garbage, and a garage that I never had. I never received any bills or notifications for any of this. We got it squared away and I immediately went and paid what I owed. When I turned my lease back in I thoroughly cleaned the apartment. I turned the keys in as well as left a forwarding address and phone #. Today I receive a phone call form collections that I owed $234 to Badger Mountain Ranch Apartments. I have never received any bills or any phone calls notifying me that additional money was owed or I would have already paid it. I am very dissatisfied with this apartment complexes management skills and record keeping. These kind of things should not be happening. You have to actually send people a bill before they can pay it. This is BS and I would never recommend these apartments to anyone.
