After discovering water damage and mold in our kitchen, a fellow colleague recommended her brother's business to help do the remediation and repairs. I have always believed to go with a personal recommendation but this one turned out very bad! Please beware, these two guys are not honest and up front with the type of work they do and the costs associated with it. THey refused to give us a breakdown of the costs and we should have recognized the red flag when they wanted $25,000 up front to float them and then another $25,000 just 2 weeks later! We were told by the [redacted], later, that you should never have to give a contractor any money up front. We refused to give them any more money until we received a breakdown of the work and costs that have been done already. This is when things went really bad. Our new kitchen cabinets arrived and they were not what we ordered. They refused to take them back or refund us. When we tried to fire them, they refused to give us our belongings back that they so conveniently offered to store for us for $13,000!!!!!! They are a total scam and the [redacted] and our lawyer could only get us $7,000 back. They pretty much took all of our insurance money and we had to hire another contractor to finish the job. NEVER use them!!!!!
