As I stated in the previous response, we completed the quoted and agreed upon workThere was an issue of a wet backyard and recycling of waterWe solved that issue and that is what was "verbally" told to the customer It clearly states in the signed contract that there are no guarantees of warranties beyond what is stated in the contractThere were other, more expensive options discussed, and this is the one that the [redacted] choseBesides, I had not even met [redacted] at his home until November of He was not onsite for the initial meeting, which in hind sight, I feel he should have beenRegarding the materials removed from his home, we were asked to haul away the corrugated tubing and PVC pipesWe did so at no additional charge to the customerWe did not keep most of the materialsIf the customer wanted them, then they should not have asked us to haul them awayI will look to see what I have and drop them off this weekI will not cut into the connection that we made or alter the work that was agreed upon by both partiesMy responsibility of this project has been completed and it sounds like they have already hired another contractor to perform the work that I suggested from the get go Having been in the drainage solution business for over years, I understand that there are contractors that will perform the same type of work for less than othersThere are many options when it comes to material and installation quality, costs, overhead, equipment and other factors that go into a projectI'm glad that the [redacted] have found someone to do the work I quoted for half the cost, but would caution them to take a closer look and make sure the quote covers the same details as our proposalOften times, they do notIt was my understanding from the emails that a connection into the storm sewer was the answer for now and that they would call us in the spring to move forward with the new contractI apologize for the misunderstanding

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The business stated they have responded to all my emails That is not true - please see the attached file They stopped responding to my emails in November Also, they never returned materials taken from my home as they promised to do on multiple occasions Finally, though they never offered a "guarantee" or a "warranty" in writing, they verbally assured me on multiple occasions that their proposal would solve my issue That is the entire reason I moved forward with the work The reason I declined to move forward with their additional work they proposed is A) The work they promised would work the first time didn't work, so why would I spend $6k more with them, B) The ground was freezing (Thanksgiving timeframe) and C) I needed to get a second quote My second quote came in at $3K This business should stand behind their work and make this right rather than trying to milk me for more money Regards, [redacted] ***

Badger lands response is inaccurateThey did not attempt to re seed several times, they tried one more time after the first failure which is a total of two times not several that they say in the responseThey are also that we did not water the grass and the when they came out to re-seed the second time yes we were unaware they were coming because I was told by them that they would let me know in advance when they were coming so we were not aware what they were doing and the person who did the job was simply throwing seeds over the ground from his handI'm ok with deducting the $from the final bill but want it reflected in the final total minus $because I don't trust this company and given the information in the response and the very, poor follow up and broken promises including being promised a call from the owner twice that never happened I want to make sure I'm coveredIf the minus $can be reflected in the final bill that will be fine and hopefully end my nightmare with this company Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

I apologize for not following up on this I was aware of this complaint and told that the parties involved would handle itWe attempted to re-seed an area of lawn several times per requestAfter the second attempt, it was apparent that the failure was due to a lack of watering The homeowner was told that we were installing grass seed the day of installation and was instructed to water it dailyWe received a call four days later at our office and it was the same homeowner asking what we were doing at their property that dayIt seems that they forgot what services we provided and most likely forgot to water.The customer still has an outstanding balance due and we are willing to have them deduct the $when remitting final paymentThis information should have been told to the owners by my office staff Hopefully this will resolve their complaint
