Bado's Cucina

Review: I stopped at the restaurant in person on 2/3 to make a reservation for dinner using a $40. Groupon that I had purchased. The owner, Jerry, told me that the Bado did not have a liquor license but that I was welcome to bring something alcoholic to drink. He gave me a menu to take with me. There was no mention of a "corkage" fee on the menu. I arrived for my reservation on 2/4 at 6PM. This is a very expensive restaurant that serves small amounts of food on small plates. They do not provide bread, butter, etc. I ordered a glass of ice water to drink. I added one shot of whiskey to my ice water.The waitress made no mention of a "corkage" fee. I ordered the $16. shrimp. 3 shrimp were served, no rice, pasta, or other starch was served. I ordered the $15. beef and received a small piece of a strip steak. I had a dessert and when my bill came, an $8. "corkage" fee was added. I spoke with the owner and he refused to remove the charge. There is zero mention of this fee anywhere on the advertising that I have sound. Since I was individually INVITED to bring a beverage, asked no one to "uncork" anything, and asked for no soda mixer, I find the $8. charge totally unacceptable!Desired Settlement: I would like to have my $8 refunded.
