The customer emailed Bagatta Boutique on 8/14/stating that she urgently needed the yellow maxi dress as she stated in the above complaintShe also asked if she could pick the dress up but we said we would deliver the dress to herShe email saying "Hello again,I was attempting to pay It's charging me for shipping, bringing me to a total of $Is that still applicable since we're meeting up?" Which we replied "Hello,
Yes, the shipping is still applicable since we are delivering the item to you." The customer then paid the price with shipping costOnce we received her address with the payment on our site, the dress was delivered to the address attached to the payment on 8/16/It was our oversight that we delivered the dress to the wrong address as she did ask via email that the dress be delivered to a different address
Once it was discovered that the dress was not yellow on by both parties as the customer thought the dress was yellow from a picture on Facebook and we had not put a color on our site, arrangements were made to have the dress picked up on 8/17/but the customer had a change in schedule, emailing the following: "Hello,
Following up regarding today's arrangementI've been asked to stay until 9pm and won't make it back to my house on *** until close to If you just so happen to be passing through downtown, please come byOtherwise, can we please take care of this by tomorrow?"
Other arrangements were made and the dress was picked up and inspected for wear on 8/18/
Against practices, the customer was refunded her money minus shipping costs which is the customer's responsibility on 8/19/
We have made arrangements for the customer based on her apparent urgent need as we felt she may not find the adequate dress in timeWe also refunded her money which is against our return policy but have done so in a timely fashion as we have acknowledged the error in delivery and color of the dressShipping cost will always remain the customer's responsibility
