Bagel Lovers of Patchogue

Review: During the last 6 months I went to this establishment about 8 times. The first time I asked for a dark toasted bagel.I got back a bagel with no toast marks on it. It looked untoasted although it could have been put in a toaster for a short period. When I asked for it to be toasted more the other items got cold waiting for it. The waitress did not appear to be cooperative. I spoke to the manager/owner and his wife who agreed with the problem and properly corrected the situation.I don't really need it dark,but I ask for it dark in the hope that this will get them to toast it at all. Over the next several visits this was a problem only once when I had to have it sent back. On 6/** I went in and ordered the same thing. The girl taking the order said "Im here now and Im going to make sure you get it right". Im not going to make the other item until the bagel is done. The eggs just take a couple of seconds. I said "your the professional. Except when they dont toast the bagel thats not professional". She showed me the bagel when finished and said is this alright? I said fine. She brought it out and said she prefers that I dont come in there anymore because I give them a hard time. I said how do I give them a hard time just by asking them to dark toast a bagel? Thats ridiculous. She said "Im not going to argue about it". I asked if I could speak to the owner? She said Im the owner. This didn't seem like the normal flow of the conversation making me wonder if it was a set up situation. First she was helpful and then turned around. I have a pen that is a tape recorder. - She looked young to be the owner. The couple that I spoke to during the previous incident were older and apparently were not there. One of the write ups states that the owner is a veteran.Desired Settlement: partial refund, apology,
