milesCustomer informed us that she gets paid on the 17th of October and said she would pay a deposit (which is usually half the repair bill)Told her we will know what's wrong with the car and have the bill figured out by that dayIf no deposit is made or customer is not contacting us we leave the vehicles alone until customer pays the deposit and says its ok to do the workWe have to charge storage fee of $a day for vehicles that are not being paid for and taking up parking spaceBut we did not charge *** any storage feeAfter the car was diagnosed we attempted to call the customer several times but with no luck the car was towed to the yard because we are limited on parking space at the shopEvery week we call customers like *** to figure out what they want us to do about the vehicle but still nothing*** called the end of December asking what her repair bill was and she was told the amount was $Finally a payment of $was made on February 8, so work was started on the carWe had to send some parts to another place which they were backed up and behind and *** was told about thisAnother payment of $was made on February 10, which paid off the billThen *** called on February 25, asking about her car then she told a male what she was told while still on the phone and the male started cussing and yelling then she puts him on the phone and asked "What the * is going on with the car and what the * is taking forever and that his father works for the city and that they can shut down the shop" more profanity and what sounded to me like threats and I was not going to have him talk to me in that tone and language so I hung up on himThey called back several more times and they were told if they're going to talk like that and threaten us to just pick up the car and I told *** to call back when they calm downFinally *** called back later and wanted to talk so she spoke with Art and apologized for all that was saidAnd asked to fix the car so when the parts came back from the other shop the part needed to cut more because it was twisted from the car overheatingWas also told that it needed a shim gasket and sealant which we put in at no extra chargeWhen the car started it would not stay running so we tested it again and it needed a fuel pump so we got one out of a vehicle that's at our yard also at no extra chargeThe radiator was not circulating because it had debris in it*** was also told by the mechanic about thisBut she didn't want any more work done on her car and that she would pick it upOn March 21, her mother came and picked up the carWe gave *** a copy of the itemized receipt on February 26, We feel we do not owe her a refund because we had it in the yard for months without any storage fee and other parts that were replaced for free including our diagnostic fee of $that was not chargedAttached a copy of the itemized work order
