I never told the customer that her bush was damaged by our roofing job and she never submitted me a bill. When I checked out the bush it did not have broken branches but was brown. That could not have happened from the roof job in just 2 days. The customer did pay me $100 less than the contract...

Review: upon completion of a roofing job, there was damage to my landscaping. owner [redacted] came out after for final payment and we discussed the damage at that time. He agreed that the damage, a small pine on the front of the house that now had broken limbs and turning brown, was probably due to when the materials were thrown off the roof. He stated that although they put a tarp up, sometimes these things happen. He asked what I would like to do, I told him we can wait a few weeks and see if it comes back to life. He agreed, and said to contact him if it doesn't and we would work out fixing it then. After a few weeks, it was obvious the tree wasn't coming back. When I contacted him he refused to fix it and told me the tree was like that before. I have documented pictures, from when the dumpsters were at my house, that the tree was alive and healthy. To say he was rude is an understatement.Desired Settlement: The cost of repairing the tree was submitted to him. the cost of replacement with the same type of tree and same size is $100. I want the $100 so I can have the landscaping restored to the way it was before the roof work was done.
