I am rejecting this response because: While I may not understand everything about internet advertising, I know [redacted] doesn't place advertisements on its site for free I have provided documentation showing Baileys ad, Baileys has not shown any documentation about when the ad was supposed to be displayed, etc Baileys is now simply stating the ad was "old" Baileys may not be allocating the appropriate resources to verify what ads are displayed when If indeed, Baileys is certain that [redacted] made a mistake, Baileys should contact [redacted] and let them know about the issue Baileys could have but didn't put an expiration date for the sale offer on its advertisement. It speaks volumes that a company (like Baileys), ostensibly trying to make money by selling goods and providing quality service, doesn't honor its advertisements (old or otherwise) I will do everything I can to continue to inform others about my poor shopping experience with Baileys
The customer is referring to an advertisement from ***.com, not an advertisement from Bailey's website, nor an advertisement that Bailey's provided to *** to use(You can see this in the screenshot he provided - clearly NOT our website which is www.Baileysonline.com)*** uses browsing history and cookies to populate ads with products that customers have recently searched forThis is a common practice in many online marketplace platformsBailey's has absolutely no control over the ads *** chooses to displayThis is not a sale or offer we have ever promoted within our company, therefore there is nothing to be honoredWe explained this to the customer numerous times, but he doesn't seem to understand how online advertising works and the fact that we are unable to control the amount or type of ads that *** uses on their own websitePlease close this complaint - it is irrelevant and should be directed elsewhere
