Review: I am in receipt of Invoice #[redacted] in the amount of $133.50. Enclosed is my payment for $66.75.On January 8, 2014, I contacted your office and had my phone call promptly returned by your On Call Technician. I explained the situation and where I was located. I also stated that my only form of payment was via credit card. Your technician said he would contact his [redacted] and get back to me. Within a few minutes, he returned my call and said it would be fine to pay via credit card the next day with the office staff. After his arrival, he located the water valve and turned off the water. Your Technician went back out to the truck to contact his [redacted]. Upon his return, he requested that I contact the office in the morning with my credit card information. He also stated that I would need to schedule the repair work to be completed with the office. On January 9, 2014, I promptly called your office (before 10AM) to make payment arrangements. I was immediately told by your staff member ([redacted]?) that credit cards were not accepted, that she was not aware of any special circumstances and would have to research the situation. At this point, I would suspect that she was aware that my water was turned off. After waiting for (4) hours and not receiving a phone call back; I began to contact other vendors. Much to my surprise, the 2nd vendor I called placed my situation in emergency status because the water was turned off and they were able to have a technician respond before 6PM the same evening. On January 10, 2014, your staff member returned my phone call. She left me a voice mail message at home and office numbers. Her message only stated that credit cards were not accepted and I needed to make other payment arrangements. On January 13, 2014, I returned her phone call. Again, I was informed that credit cards were not accepted and that I would need to pay the invoice I received. When I asked what the total was, she did not have answer for me and told me to wait for the invoice. When she said she was ready to schedule the work, I mentioned that it was already completed. She made a rude comment that she thought so because it took me so long to return her phone call. When I placed my initial phone call (from a referral), I had full intentions on paying for the services rendered. After being treated unprofessionally and with an attitude that this situation was entirely my responsibility, the amount enclosed is my full payment. Please clear the balance due and send me an updated invoice reflecting a zero balance before March 31, 2014.Desired Settlement: [redacted] needs to take ownership of the verbal agreement his Technician made with me, and how his assistant, [redacted] treated me on the phone. I had two phone calls with [redacted] and he did not apologize nor take any ownership of the sitaution. I expect to receive a zero balance invoice and my name/accout cleared of the remaining balance. My payment of 50% is adequate especially when I was left with my water turned off by the Bailey's technician.
