I am rejecting this response because:  While I may not understand everything about internet advertising, I know [redacted] doesn't place advertisements on its site for free.  I have provided documentation showing Baileys ad, Baileys has not shown any documentation about when the ad was supposed to be displayed, etc...  Baileys is now simply stating the ad was "old".  Baileys may not be allocating the appropriate resources to verify what ads are displayed when.  If indeed, Baileys is certain that [redacted] made a mistake, Baileys should contact [redacted] and let them know about the issue.  Baileys could have but didn't put an expiration date for the sale offer on its advertisement. It speaks volumes that a company (like Baileys), ostensibly trying to make money by selling goods and providing quality service, doesn't honor its advertisements (old or otherwise).  I will do everything I can to continue to inform others about my poor shopping experience with Baileys.

The customer is referring to an advertisement from [redacted].com, not an advertisement from Bailey's website, nor an advertisement that Bailey's provided to [redacted] to use. (You can see this in the screenshot he provided - clearly NOT our website which is www.Baileysonline.com). [redacted] uses browsing history and cookies to populate ads with products that customers have recently searched for. This is a common practice in many online marketplace platforms. Bailey's has absolutely no control over the ads [redacted] chooses to display. This is not a sale or offer we have ever promoted within our company, therefore there is nothing to be honored. We explained this to the customer numerous times, but he doesn't seem to understand how online advertising works and the fact that we are unable to control the amount or type of ads that [redacted] uses on their own website. Please close this complaint - it is irrelevant and should be directed elsewhere.

There are 2 issues here. 1st is the Credit Card theft of information which we sent out notification of. Yes, it happened. It was a lot more interesting to read about in the news relating to other businesses than when it happened to us. No one regrets it more than we do but it happened and...

I can’t “undo” that one. The 2nd issue is regarding the order [redacted] the order was for 263.35. 1 pair of 9.5D Red Dawg Boots. I gather that your records show we charged you for it and never shipped it to you. Is that correct? If so, send me a copy of your printed Bank statement showing that transaction and I will have the money refunded to you. Everything we see shows that there was a hold on that dollar amount on your card, as per your order and when the Order was cancelled the hold on the funds should have cancelled. I’m gathering that you see it as a completed transaction and you are out the money. So, if you would send me a copy of the bank statement showing that transaction amount from Bailey’s, you will get a full refund. Just take a felt tip pen to any information you don’t want me to see as in the account number and any other purchases. Regards[redacted]

Review: [redacted]

My debit card information was stolen after making a purchase on this website. I made a backordered purchase and contacted the customer service rep so that I would know when the item would be in stock. They told me it would be wait time of several weeks. I never heard a response after that time passed. I contacted them again to get the status of the item, which they told me would be further delayed for a variety of reasons (the processing warehouse was closed for the weekend, they needed to do an inventory check, and finally that my payment had never been processed). The last "statement" was clearly a lie because my money had been captured immediately after making my purchase (they still have money to this date).

While this was going on, I discovered many fraudulent purchases made to my debit card. So not only do they have the money I spent on an item that never arrived, but my bank information was stolen and hundreds of dollars are now missing. I am still getting fraudulent charges to this date. The customer support never responded to me after they claimed to have returned my money (they still haven't). If I hadn't been diligent about contacting them frequently, they would never have contacted me in the first place. They captured my money, stole my debit card information, and completely lied about their scam of a "fulfillment process."

This website is a scam and I want to warn people before their hard earned money is stolen like mine was.Desired Settlement: The company owes me money for the item that I purchased. There is nothing I can do about their website stealing my debit card information other than contacting my bank, but I will have to take legal actions because the bank theft is continuing. I am going to contact my bank to ensure that I receive the money back because this is clearly a scam.

Review: While searching on the internet for a product I was presented with an advertisement from www.baileysonline.com offering the product for sale at a certain price and included free shipping. I tried to order the product at their website and the price was more than advertised and didn't offer free shipping. I contacted baileysonline.com customer service provided a screen shot (available upon request) of their advertisement and asked that they honor their ad. One day later baileysonline.com informed me, via email (available upon request), that neither the price nor free shipping would be honored. Classic bait and switch. I see they are listed as a [redacted], but my experience conflicts with that characterization.Desired Settlement: I would like baileysonline.com to honor their advertising, and in this case, give me an addition 10% discount for my trouble.
