My husband and I moved into our apartment in JanuaryWe did get internet until the 20th of that month then we had to leave the apartment because of floodingAbout days later the apartment was Broken into and we decided to moveIn Feburuary on the 19th we called to have our service moved to the new house we were stay at, but mta continued our service at the old apartmentThey told us they would call me on my cell to schedule a time to come outThey did not do that I had to call and ask when they would come outI was told it wouldn't be till march 15! By this time we had not had internet for almost a monthWhen I went to pay my bill online it showed $which I paidWhen we checked our po box that is when I learned we owed $to MTA plus a late fee! We were not told our account number had changed our emailed that it had changedPlus we were paying for services we had not used! We didn't have internet or use of them for most of January and we didn't use them at all for fe

MTA failed to provide the services contracted The download speeds promised were not provided consistentlyMTA's slow response time to fix these issues repeatedly resulted in my being unable to work I spent a great deal of time trying to determine what was wrong with my computer as I assumed, initially that they were providing the services they sold me Each time my IT service person informed me it was a problem with MTA and we put in a service request, MTA tech response was "Oh, I wonder why your speed was reduced, I can fix that." By then I would have lost another nights work Each time they informed it should not happen again But it did I finally brought in *** systems technical help who told me this was a constant problem with MTA and the only way to insure adequate connection speed was to switch to *** That switch was made in early November and I have had no connections problems, no loss of work time sinceHaving established the MTA line was indeed the problem, I

I recently moved to Alaska and had everything scheduled to be installed upon arrivalThe only issue I had was with MTAAt first they were great and had awesome custom serviceThe day after I had the internet installed I noticed I wasn't getting the download speeds as advertised; not even capable of streaming NetflixsI called and talked to the tech department and cancelled service exactly days afterI was told there would be no cancellation Fees and as long as I would return the equipment I wouldn't be expected to pay anythingAfter returning from a work seminar I noticed I had a late payment from this company so I called and explained the situationRight away I received blantant rudeness from kathy ( wouldn't give me last name) and she said I was basically crazy, but after awhile she noticed I wasn't going to give upShe told me there is one thing her supervisor could do is listen to the call and see what the employ told meI was thankful that was an option but it took everything to get to that pointI didn't hear anything back so I decided to give them a call to see the outcomeI was able to talk to Janice Pwho seemed to disregard what I was saying and wouldn't give me her employer ID numberAt this point im just going to pay it, but I wanted to share this experience with everyone so they can at least anticapte any problems that may arise with this company

We have been customers of MTA for years, We R the ones that begged for them to come up *** (before it was a real road)For years we have had both a great Business and now a residential relationship We have been "Gold" TV customers for years(1stwe lost channels belonging to our GOLD service We actually lost pay per view and channel before thisI just spoke to MTA and asked them about this Charging us FOR THE SAME GOLD PACKAGE EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE REMOVED CHANNELS ALONG WITH PAY FOR VEIW My answer this morning was QUOTE "YES WE ARE."
I asked "HOW DO WE GET THESE CHANNELS BACK.?? RESPONSE- "YOU HAVE TO BUY OUR NEW SLING STYLE TV SERVICES."
SO IF I DO NOT PURCHACE THEIR SLING STYLE TV, I HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE "GOLD PACKAGE" MINUS CHANNELS! YES WAS THE RESPONSE
ALSO I CANNOT UP GRADE MY INTERNET PACKAGE SO I CAN WATCH "OTHER SERVICES" UNLESS WE PURCHASE THIERS????

I am very pleased with the service I received from Bain's ServiceWhen I called about my dryer, they were very pleasant to deal with on the phoneI was expecting them Monday but they were able to fit me in today, FridayThe tech was polite and friendly and made inexpensive recommendations to avoid future service calls
Last year my washer needed serviceThat tech was also greatHe knew we were leaving on holiday and came back, on his own time, to make sure our house sitter would not be left to deal with it
I definitely recommend Bain's Service
