I am writing your company this email in regards to complaint ID: *** submitted by *** *** a resident in my apartment complexMs*** has stated that she has been having roommate issues during her tenancy in our apartment complex, and I have talked to her twice about the situation since I took over management at Bainbridge PlaceThe first time she mentioned it to me I followed up by contacting the other resident with whom she was having the issues with, and telling her we had some complaints about illegal occupants being in her unit she stated “The people were gone and wouldn’t be a problem any longer.” I ended the conversation there and told Ms*** to follow up with me if the problem continued, and about a week later she called to inform me that people were over in her apartment againSo another employee of Bainbridge Place and myself walked over to the unit to do a surprise inspection the following morning, and found no evidence of any illegal tenantsWe confronted the other occupant about the issue again and she stated “Her niece comes over after school to hangout and watch television, because she has nowhere else to go.” I gave the tenant a final warning in regards to having non residents “staying” with her as far as her niece goes tenants are permitted to have guest over as long as it is during hours that don’t impede on others schedules or sleepOn the morning of October 31st Ms*** came down to my office and said someone had broken into her apartment and stolen some of her possessions I proceeded to tell her that she would need to file a police report, and that I would assist anyway I couldMs*** was convinced the culprit was her roommate’s boyfriends, and I offered to review some security tapes we have on the premisesAfter viewing the security footage there was no concrete evidence of anyone with Ms ***’s possessions so it was impossible for both T*** Police Department and myself to pin the blame on her roommate’s boyfriendMs*** has tried to break her lease with our company, but she has no grounds for cancelling itI offered to move her into another unit if she still wasn’t feeling safe but she simply refusedIn the month that I’ve been working at Bainbridge Place I did my best to help her living situation be enjoyable, but just because someone doesn’t like their random roommate doesn’t mean they can void their contractI’ve tried to make accommodations for Ms***, but I am not permitted to terminate her lease over the issues at hand
