Review: Bought 2 used tires on 5/31 for 45$ a piece a little after 1pm . Both appeared to have pretty good tread left so I expected they had good life left to them. After waiting in the sun for over an hour and 30 mins (only one other person was there) I finally had my tires installed... not to mention the lack of knowledge on how to properly jack up a car ( like using the correct jack point, car damn near slipped off the jack) or reinstalling the wheel... good thing I check my own stuff or I prob would be without my wheels as all the lugs where loose. anyway I go back to work ( 5 min up the road) and my car sat in the deck until I got off. when I came out (4 hours later) to my surprise one tire had fully deflated. The next morning (today) I went back in to have it swapped. they immediately said they don't have any more tires with good tread in my size and would patch it...(i did not spend 45 dollars for a patched used tire) they flat out refused to find another for my car and would only warranty the patched tire 30 days. I asked if they could discount another set of tires for all the trouble I been through, the lady that runs the place while her husband is away said she already extended the warranty and she will not do anything else. I could take it or leave it. She even refused to write that she would extend the warranty on my receipt, she only kept saying if you come back I will remember. I then asked her what happens if she isnt there, she said then wait for me. smh... I read some reviews on this place and it looks like they were right. That same morning another person came in and asked for them to fix some work they did and of course they refused and then came the yelling and screaming... I would really like to know how this "business" still has it accreditation. I'm so tired of business that treat their customers like crap after they get their money.Desired Settlement: At this point I would like a refund for the tire with a patch or least a percentage back. I have a feeling I will be purchasing a new tire very soon. I highly doubt this will happen but guess its worth a shot. To be completely honest I don't trust this company with my car anymore.

Review: In January of 2016, I spoke to Ayo A[redacted] the owner of Bainbridge Tire and Auto about purchasing the [redacted], VIN: [redacted], that was located at [redacted] at that time. He was asking for $3000.00 for the [redacted]. This was a birthday gift to my daughter. After purchasing the [redacted] on January 11, 2016 from Ayo A[redacted] for $3,000. Ayo A[redacted] listed the owner of the [redacted] as Meshack O[redacted] I obtained car insurance, registration, and tags for the vehicle.

When I started driving the vehicle I noticed that it had no heat, smoke was coming from under the hood, and smelled of some type of fluid burning. I also noticed the heater line had been cut after looking underneath the hood. I took the vehicle back to Bainbridge Tire and Auto to have the owner check the vehicle out for the needed repairs. Ayo A[redacted] stated to me that if I purchased the parts, he will pay for any labor cost of repairs the vehicle needed. He referred me take the vehicle to Discount Auto Complete Car Care. Which I declined, and stated that I will take the vehicle to a reputable repair shop of my choice.

Ayo A[redacted], stated to me that it could be the thermostat, he stated to me that he did not inspect the vehicle, and was not aware of any mechanical issues. I replaced the thermostat and the heater line which did not repair the no heat issue. The Virginia Inspection for this vehicle is for July 2016. I believe that it will not pass inspection for safety issues.

My daughter and I have paid for several needed parts and labor on the vehicle with no reimbursements from Ayo A[redacted]. [redacted] stated to me that the front end has been wrecked. Motor looks shifted, both broken motor mounts, intake boot not attached, rack and pinion is leaking, and brake lines are rusty. I sent him a certified letter to on May 9, 2016. As of today I have not heard from Ayo A[redacted].Desired Settlement: I will like Ayo A[redacted] to have repaired or replace the motor and all of it's components, the intake boot, rack and pinion to stop the leaking, the heating system, the brake lines, and new rotors and new brake pads for the [redacted], VIN: [redacted].

Review: Purchased a tire from them 4 weeks prior to getting my car inspected. Inspector told me Ihad a bad tire that would not pass inspection. Metal showing on middle of tire. Ask him if that was possible after only 4 weeks. He said NO. So called Bainbridge tire to tell them and woman answered phone. After explain the situation she tells me I have only Two weeks to retun. I told her it had been 4 weeks and they sold me a $40 tire that was no good. She began to raise her voice at me and I explained that I would just like to have a replacement tire put on being that the one. They sold me was'nt any good. She then spoke what Itook not tobe non english and hung up the phone in my face. I went there and the man worrking told me they did NOT put that tire on my car, so I handed him my reciept. He went and looked at tire told me it was good it would pass. Called inspection station n front of him(on speaker)n guy told him it would not pass. They Refused to help me!! Very Unproffesional. Ask lady if she was n business of Ripping people off. She grinned and walkedback inside.Desired Settlement: Have my money given back to me and someone to investigate to see how many more people have been Ripped off by this Unproffesional company.

Response:

I spoke with [redacted] from the business and he stated that the consumer came in 4 weeks later about the tire and the warranty on the tire was already up. Since the warranty is up the business could not replace the tire.

Review: I bought a used tire, and my entire wheel fell off just a couple of miles later. The police were called, and a police report was made. I have tried to get them to pay for repairs on my car because of their negligence. They just tell me the tire has no warranty. It is not the tire that was the problem... the problem is that they did not tighten my wheel. I went by and asked to see a copy of their business license, which by law should be posted. They refused to show me or even give my their names. I have since found out their contact information from the State Corporation Commission, and will undertake legal proceedings. This was negligence in its purest form, and they didn't even apologize, much less offer repairs. This was extremely dangerous and I and my passenger could have been KILLED if this had happened on the highway.Desired Settlement: I want my car repaired to my satisfaction, I want compensation for time lost from work, I want an apology, and I want my money back. If I have to sue, I will also sue for punitive damages for negligence.

Business

Response:

After speaking to [redacted] from the company on 10/9/13 she stated there is a 2 week warranty on some tires which covers the replacement of a tire. This warranty can be found on the customer's receipt. Not all tires are warrantied.
