I am rejecting this response because:
This is just a recollection of what happened according the shop manager who, when I showed up to pay, couldn't recall what exactly he said in the initial conversation anyway When I went to pay he said he didn't remember anything about in the conversationNow he says he does remember? And he also didn't remember about saying he would call me back when I asked them why they didn't call me back at the time of paymentNow he does? Hmmmm, seems a little coincidental that now he remembers the entire conversation

on Friday march 6 2015 [redacted] contacted our office mid day requesting a quote to replace front wheel bearings on hi 1999 nissan altima, he had his own parts only a labor quote.   at that time there was a statement made from our office that we would need to check to see if they...

were pressed or hub assemblies and we would call back as soon as we could but we were busy that day may not be able to before the end of the day.     at that statement we reaffirmed the year/ make and model of the vehicle.  99 Nissan altima.  this was the only time the number 99 was in the conversation.  as [redacted] stated in the complaint we did not call back that day.  We do not work on the week ends to follow up.     Monday morning [redacted] came into the shop, with his own wheel bearings, and stated replace the bearings with no mention of the conversation of the Friday befor.  later that day we contacted [redacted] and recommended additional parts found that need to be replaced and an alignment was required for this repair. during the repair. [redacted] stated he would get his own parts.   the customer brought the additional parts at the end of our work day(approx 4:00) with not enough time to complete the repairs.   obviously [redacted] approved the additional repairs.  still no mention of the initial supposed cost to replace the wheel bearings?  only statements was to fix it.  Upon completion of the repairs [redacted] was contacted that the vehicle was ready.  when [redacted] came in to pick up the vehicle and seen the cost to repair he then mentioned the statement of $99.00 was quoted to replace each bearing.  we did stated than no quote was made of that cost at any time of our conversations. at that time after attempting to calm the situation,  we reduced the total invoice of$646.46  to $541.80.  dropping our charges $104.66 in an attempt to satisfy the customer ,[redacted].  Even though still not pleased the agreement was made. and the $541.80 was paid.    All of our labor quotes are from repair labor guides the one we use the most is REAL TIME LABOR GUIDE OF WHICH THE CHARGES FOR LABOR WERE BASED ON AT $80.00 PER HR LABOR RATE,  2.1 EACH SIDE ON THE WHEEL BEARINGS AND 1.9 EACH SIDE FOR THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS PLUS ALIGNMENT. TOTAL OF 6.2 HRS LABOR BY THE GUIDE PLUS THE ALIGNMENT TIME OF 1.2.   THE TOTAL INITIAL LABOR CHARGE WE WERE REQUESTING WAS THIS TIME PLUS ALIGNMENT.  WE DEDUCTED 1.2 HRS FROM THE FIRST  INVOICE TO COMPENSATE FOR ANY CROSS OVER TIME.   UNFORTUNATELY THERE WAS A MISS-UNDERSTANDING AROUND THE NUMBER 99 IN THE INITIAL PHONE CONTACT OF WHICH AS STATED THERE WAS NO EXACT COST ESTIMATE GIVEN.
