to be signed in the salon to avoid situations like this one. We also send emails immediately to notify customers of any issues so that they can be cured in a timely fashion. Baja Beach does not take any changes via phone because we require ID to protect our customers monthly EFT info and privacy. Anyone can claim they call in; but you have no idea if they are who they say they are.We care about each and every customer and go to extremes to make sure all members accounts are in good standing. However, we need co-operation from our customers as well. That being said; [redacted] claims she called in to put a hold on her account in 2016, which as the Membership Agreement states she needs to come in to sign. As of 2016 she had two declines on her membership for insufficient funds in her bank to process her payment of $117.80. She was emailed these declines notices at that time and had not came in to pay any balances due.Just to clarify things; on April 26, 2017 she came in to tan and we told her she still had a balance due and needed to pay the balance first; she stated she called into hold her account which we have told her that she had needed to come in per the Membership Agreement to sign for all changes. She declined to pay her balance due and left the premises. When [redacted] signed up in 2015 [redacted] had received a copy that she signed per a note that was in her file that we had given her a copy. She was also emailed a copy of that signed form on the 26th when she asked for a copy thru an email she sent to us. Membership dues are debited until the customer comes in to cancel or hold their account which she did neither.Baja Beach has offered [redacted] to take half of her balance off and she pay the remaining half balance due within 10 days. Baja Beach is not required to do this per the Agreement signed; but as a Good Faith of Business we are bending our rules to accommodate [redacted]. Baja Beach would also like this to be adjusted on the Better Business status.Sincerely;Scot H, President
