You joined our Baja Club on 1/24/2015 and dues were collected and paid through the end of February. Somehow your membership didn't reach me in time to get put on auto pay starting with the month of March 2015 so we didn't start charging your checking account until April. Because you didn't pay your dues for March in-house, the withdrawal we made in April was actually to pay for March's dues and the withdrawal in May was for April's dues.
You letter states you told the employee you wanted to cancel your membership sometime during the month of March. Very clearly in our Baja Club brochure and sign up form it states that cancellations must be made in writing at least 30 days prior to the 1st of the month in which cancellation is to be effective, or in other words if you turned in your cancellation notice in March your cancellation would become effective the end of April.
As stated above you did not pay your March dues so you were being charged one month late for the services you received. Even though I just received your written cancellation dated 5/28 I will cancel your membership immediately so you will no longer be charged. However, I want to be clear that you were not overcharged because the money's collected paid your dues through the end of April which is when your cancellation would have been effective had I received the proper written notice in March.

I have attached a copy of the letter in response to [redacted]'s complaint that was mailed to her on 6/1/15. To date I have not received a reply from [redacted] regarding my letter. If the letter did not come through properly please let me know and I can forward a copy via US mail. Thanks
