We had Jones Movers move our most expensive thingsFirst of all I asked Candy J*** if her movers could move a sleep number bed and she said yes, wrong her guys didn't know anything about sleep number and they put it back together wrong and voided the warranty#The mover damaged a $Solid Oak Dinning Table that was just a year and half oldCandy sent a wood specialist out and he said no way that can be fixedThere was several marks on the table top and not just scratches there was deep marred marksDuring the discussion of price and etcnothing was brought up about purchasing insuranceI talked to Jones movers at least time prior to the move then just a few days before the move I called to finalize the price and still no mention of InsuranceNeedless to say the table was damanged they also misplaced the front bottom piece of my freezer and Candy J*** said you signed the contract and I said I signed nothing but it was my Husband, THE DAY of the Move when thing was kaiatic and of the other movers, a couple friend and myself was already moving itemsBottomline if you use Jones bring up purchasing insurance or you will get cents on the pound which equaled out to be $for the missing piece for the freezer and a $Oak tableAt first Candy just offered $but after myself contacting her several time she sent an additional check of $which equaled $What an insult !!!!!!!!!!!!! Jones Movers only moved large, expensive and heavy items so I most certainly would have took out the insurance but I thought They would be responsible for damage, NOT
I hired Jones Movers to move me They damaged several items and promised to fix them I won't go into details about everything they damaged but in particular, they ruined an antique bedroom suit They promised to fix it to original condition and did not In fact, the ruined the value of it because they put other parts on it and didn't fix everything they damaged They also damaged a chair that they had the audacity to say my dog did the damage when they clearly dropped it on the concrete When I called them back and told them they did not fix everything, they said they did not do all the damage and that's all they were going to do They also said I could still "enjoy" my antique bedroom suit Yes, I can still use the bedroom suit but it makes me cringe every time I walk in that room They broke my stereo and said we will do nothing about that because it's in the contract There was no contract I only signed a paper saying they delivered my things In fact, their own employ
