This customer contacted us to look at her Mercedes MLwith 162,miles on it to check out the ball jointsWe picked up the car at her place of work and replaced the lower ball joints that she approved for a total of on July 8,Delivered the car back to her at workShe later
contacted us and said the brakes where low on the carWe picked up the car checked the brakes for any damage leaks etcThe car was low on brake fluid so we filled the fluid up and bleed the brakes for her at NO CHARGETest drove the car and the brakes where okWe did find that the right front wheel bearing was in bad shapeI called the customer and told her she would need to get this fixed soonShe told me she did not have the to replace the bearingBecause of my concern for safety I offered to fix the bearing and she could make payments to us when she couldShe agreed to this and authorized the repair by phoneWe did the needed repairs and delivered the car back to her at work on July 13,We did show her the broken motor mount by putting the car in gear and giving it some gas while holding the brakeThe engine raised up about inches because the rubber mount is brokeI told her this is something she could wait on and NEVER told her the engine was going to fall out or that it was dangerous to driveShe made a payment of on July 29,and another payment on Sept 9, Leaving a balance due of The bill she received was a copy for the replacement of the wheel bearing that she authorized by phone and promised to pay as soon as she couldOn one of the phone calls to her to see about payment she did say she had to spend at the dealer to get something fixed that only a dealer could doNEVER once did she say anything about not authorizing repairs or damage to her carNow Months later she has a problemIf she never authorized the repairs why did she make payments on the bill? We do stand behind all our work we do and NEVER EVER use scare tactics as she statedAs for her witness that there was no bill that was for checking the brakes and bleeding the brakes for her at NO CHARGEShe never complained about the brakes anymore after thatThe car has 162,miles on it then and it needs workI am sure the dealer did not offer to take payments for the repairs they didI just wanted my paidI will continue to run my business in a honorable way and trust people like they have trusted me for over years to fix there cars at a fair and honest price

I am not going to go back and forth with this business ownerI want other people to know what this business owner did to meThey need to know he took advantage of me after I paid $That Mu daughter and I could have been injured with tampered brakesThat they should be put back to without any additional fees or additional services/ charges especially without prior authorizationI forgot to mention I don't like how he threatened to hand the car back not fixing the brakes when I told him he did something to them during the replacement of the ball jointsFinally, he should not use his scare tactics on telling me the motor mount is broke on one side and the engine would fall out if I didn't replace them immediatelyEven demonstrating it to meI finally went to a reputable dealership like *** Mercedes and they informed me that was not trueThey also informed me when he worked on the brakes he had shorted out the brake wireThis kind of business practice has to stop

That is not how it happenedI spoke with the Mercedes dealership afterwards and based on what he repaired he lost the brake fluid In my car making it dangerous for me to drive itHe was only to repair the brakes and put
Them back to the way they wereI never authorized him to make an additional repair over the initial repair of the ball jointsIf I had something else wrong he should have known that the day beforeWhen I picked it back up I was not presented with a billI never authorized an additional purchaseI did get a bill days later and didn't know what to doHe was to repair the brakes onlyMercedes said he also shorted out the brake wire which was not beforeI had just had the brakes replaced a few months earlier at the fluid should have not been lowIt was so low the brakes had to be pushed to the floor and would barely workHe was doing this because I am a female and felt so
Didn't know much about a car
