Bakers Country Style Auctions

Review: On 2/**/14, I purchased seven items from Baker's through [redacted] totaling $306.90. After the auction ended, I received two emails from the company stating the following.

"Please give us a call as soon as possible regarding your order from Friday night’s auction. We need to secure payment to get your order shipped to you as soon as possible. Please note: we are a weekly auction house; therefore, all bills must be paid in full on Friday night, no exceptions. Also note: our conditions of sale posted on Proxibid: there will be a $10.00 per day storage and late fee added to all unpaid balances not satisfied on auction night. So, please give us a call immediately regarding your unpaid balance to avoid unnecessary late fees, negative feedback and the auction sites no bid lists. Thank you for participating, Baker’s Country Style Auctions ###-###-####"

I then received three phone calls at 10:02 PM, 10:15 PM and 10:28 PM on Sunday 3/*/14 - I returned the third call and the employee demanded immediate payment for the items. I told the employee that I sent over my credit card information twice and he then noticed that I did and processed the payment. When I asked why they were contacting me past 9PM, he rudely answered with an obscenity.

As of Tuesday 3/**/14 at 12PM, I have still not received the items. Per the agreement of the sale, the items were to be shipped after payment was received. Since they have not been received, I want a full refund.Desired Settlement: Full Refund that included cost, premiums and shipping $306.90

Review: They misrepresent items and sell fake and reprint items as originals, and do not disclose that an item is not original. They pass the items off as being original and no where in their description do they state that an item is a reprint, fake, or anything other than original. Also, they shorted the shipping costs of my items by sending the items as media mail, and yes USPS investigated and found that the items were not media and I had to pay the additional shipping on a C.O.D. just to get reprint junk. This was after I already gave them about $10.00 for shipping! Yes shame on me for thinking that I was getting a deal and no one else wanted the items, but shame on them more for not disclosing the truth and ripping their customers off! My story is I bid on two different lots of vintage baseball cards from an online auction site. From the low res. pictures the cards looked original and somewhat worn. Something I would expect from a vintage baseball card. Others had also bid on these items, so I bit the bullet and bid as well. I won the bid on both lots and waited for my items. I had suspicion that the cards may be reprints, but I didnt think that they would be absolute junk like what I received from them. These werent even mid-quality reprints, they were complete crap! They did not repsond to my emails for information about my won lots, nor did they provide me a tracking number. It was a game of buy reprint items that were being passed off as originals, wait to get no response from them when trying to get information via email, pay additional shipping on C.O.D., then to see junk reprint items in the package. I was completely and totally ripped of!Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the full purchase price for the items that were misrepresented, including all shipping charges originally paid, the additional C.O.D. shipping charges I paid, and the buyers premium that I paid for the items.

I am working with my credit card company to reverse the charges and I do not want to per sue this any further.
