To begin the dispute process, we can tell you that we absolutely will not be granting a refund of any kind. My [redacted] has misunderstood the entrance time of the ticket he purchased for the total event time listed for the event. The email he refers to in his false statement is just a reminder for ticket purchasers so they do not arrive at the wrong time. Mr [redacted] also falsified his statement in saying that he purchased three tickets when in fact he only purchased two. Mr [redacted] falsified the total ticket purchase price for the tickets if $129 when in fact the total was only $106.98. Lastly, this is a charity event so the fact that Mr [redacted] is making this claim via the BBB and not contacting the festival directly is disgraceful. First I want to note that the genuine lack of effort in your response is not appreciated. Though this lack of effort and lack of concern only vindicates my compliant. Also the RevDex.com clearly states that you should "not include any personally identifying information in your response". However, since it is clear in your response, with the numerous errors, you cannot write properly it only make sense you cannot read properly either. I was suspect of you not actually doing the right thing, especially after your director's response at the gates at around 11:40A.M. the day of the event. This compelled me to go through the entity of the BBB due to the fact you are not aware of your error. It was even more so clear that I needed to go through a third party do to your trying to then blame the customer for their "unfortunate understanding" when it is so clearly your fault. The tickets were sold through Eventbit and on the tickets for the general admission it stated 12pm -5pm. So the entity selling the tickets and the website to the event had conflicting times (that is assuming the event's website even had the outline of the times posted up during the time my tickets were bought). There was nothing stating on the ticket that the admission for general admission was really at 1 pm. The ticket should be a standalone document so a person can see what time they get in. This is a very easy task to accomplish you just have two different formats for General and VIP. Matter of fact the Eventbit even has a webpage showing how this is done (https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articles/en_US/How_To/how-to-change-the-star... It looks simple enough even for you to have done and maybe emailing the people that the time has changed on their tickets that they have already purchased months prior a week or so maybe have been better. And the fact that the director felt the need to mass email the attendees about 36 hours before the event about the time for general admission further illustrates Bacon and Beer Fest error that there was enough people that were "confused" that there was a need for this email. Then for you to claim that I am falsifying statements is only digger your hole deeper. This is because I have documentation such as the tickets, bank statements, and your email that was sent out at 11:11 P.M. on Thursday (which was around 36 hours before the event). If you want the confirmation numbers for the three tickets, because it is rather obvious you didn't do your research, they are XXXXXXXXXX where there were two tickets purchased then XXXXXXXXX where one ticket was purchased. All three of these tickets show clearly 42.99 each. Though if your arithmetic is as horrible as your writing and reading skills I could see how you could arrive at a number like 106.98. Since you're so great with numbers and only 10 dollars goes to the beer and food with the rest of the money being "considered a donation" is this money considered a tax write off? Also does that 10 dollars go to the renting of the park and the police officers at the event? Lastly I want to point out that you take no responsibility for your actions and only blame others for your short comings. I don't believe this shows the kids at Convent Community Services a good business model let alone a way to live by. Also with the California Craft Brewers Association (which I find to be an odd "charity") I am sure wouldn't want this kind of horrible short coming representing them. And it is truly a disgraceful act for someone to try to obtain some kind of moral high ground in their argument by claiming that an event is for a charitable cause when in fact the event is more so to market products. By the way it is also a logical fallacy known as a red herring to try to deviate from the fact you messed up.
