I am rejecting this response because:
Leo Movers indeed did attempt to work with me to come to a settlement.  Unfortunately, the company caused over $13,000 in damages by carelessly storing and transporting our furniture; they even lost some pieces outright.  They did connect me with their insurance company and this is when the problem compounded.  When I presented my claim to [redacted] (thier insurance company) I was offered a settlement in the amount of $1,250 which represent 10% of my claim.  When I explained that Leo Movers promised "full coverage" and "replacement cost", the insurance company stated that Leo Movers only had basic coverage which pays $0.60 per pound for damages. Based on feedback from the [redacted] Utilities Commission or PUC (regulates movers in **), Leo Movers were to offer me insurance options and provide state mandated literature that explained their responsibilities and mine as to insurance options.  This literature was never furnished and Leo Movers advised me they were fully insured and never offered alternatives. Leo Movers were negligent from the point of sale through pick-up, storage and delivery.  They did not follow procedures outlined by the PUC and therefore I am also filing a formal complaint with the authority as well.  Please let me know if you need nay additional information in filing this complaint to assure future consumers are protected from the unprofessional practices of Leo Movers.

To whom it may concern,  Leo Movers met w/ [redacted] to view damages.Leo Movers attempted to settle w/ [redacted] w/ what they considered afair amount....

 [redacted] declined settlement and chose to file a claim w/Leo Movers insurance company.  Leo Movers informed [redacted] that oncethe insurance claim was filed, settlement would be determined by insurancecompany.  The claim is now being handled by Leo Movers insurance companyaccording to the state bylaws set by the public utility commission of[redacted].  Leo Movers has no control over what the insurance companydeclares to be final settlement.  All claims are now being handled by LeoMovers insurance company.Best Regards,Brant B[redacted]Leo Movers & Storage[redacted]
