Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: balanced Management refused to provided any of the association members the information from the insurance adjusters final claimThis information would provide us with not only the scope of work to be done but the monetary cost of where the monies would be put back intoAs a home owner living in a house with missing walls, flooring and ceiling and not given the information I was requesting would cause most people stressIn addition below you will see I noted a pesticide problem this also caused stressHaving this process take so long with so much push back from the management company's and our association is causing me panic attacksOf which I can have my Doctor provide further documentationThis started in January and we are now in SeptemberMr [redacted] and I chose to use a different contractor because we were never told we couldn't and not did receive an estimate from their contractor as what was to be be done to our units as to use as a comparisonAs far as not indicating evidence I can provide plenty of picturesFacts: according to the contractor and the managemenment Mr [redacted] and my units suffered the most internal damage and asking for insurance paperwork as a homeowner should not have been much to ask for unless there is something to hideIn my unit I had water combining in the kitchen ceiling wall unto my furnitureAlso coming through my ceiling and walls in my mast or bedroom, saturating the flooring there and coming down through the below ceilingAlso coming in my slider doors ruining my laminate flooringI also had a pesticide problem due to this issue with all the waterI Dealt with carpenter ants, fisher bugs and some other insects I couldn't identifyMost of that problem has been resolved for I have not seen anymore insectsHowever when the exterminator was here the spray that was used stained additional flooring which now also needs to be replacedBalanced management is now asking that I work with them to resolve thisHowever as the management company they sent them out and should resolve itMy contractor has redone a proposal which had included this and it should be sent to the management company already or within the not next day or so if not alreadyHe is working as quickly as he can to forward this to the Powers so that we can move forward with the repairs and hopefully put this behind usAs for contacting a lawyer I did so not knowing what else to do since I was not getting the paperwork I needed from managementThe attorney I contacted also received resistance from the management comp, their attorney and their insurance companyMy main purpose of asking for her assusantanecwas to help me get the paperwork I was requesting which I was told I should have a right to under state statueto asking the assistance if a lawyer it was to help me obtain the paperwork I needed Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I find Ms ***'s complaint to be lacking facts, details as well as evidence Ms*** was given the approval to use her own contractor many weeks ago. I am sorry that she suffers panic attacks and high stress none of which Balanced Management caused. She retained an attorney and was directed to work with the association's attorney and now has chosen not to work with an attorney and has contacted us directly again. I believe this issue will eventually be settled when she decides to contact her contractor and schedule the work. This was her choice. Had Balanced Management been responsible for these internal repairs, we would have had this finished alreadyThere were units that suffered damage this past winter with Ms *** and Mr *** being the only to chose the same contractor to complete the work inside their unit.If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.Regards, Patty P***
