Balboa Inn

Review: I recently stayed at the hotel and was rather surprised that if I wanted to use Wi-Fi - I had to pay for it.

The room description says "Features: King or Queen size beds, Full bathroom with sinking tubs, Coffee makers, Refrigerator, Cable TV, WIFI.". I was told by the front desk that the description didn't say "free Wi-Fi". I then brought to their their attention that since the cable, coffee maker, and refrigerator didn't cost anything, it is implied that the Wi-Fi is available without extra cost. Normally, if something like Wi-Fi is extra it is either; not included in the description, or has the cost in parenthesis or somewhere on the main page one is viewing the room descriptions.

At that point I was ready to checkout, but then discovered that their was a 7 day cancellation policy, even if, I was dissatisfied with the hotel. Simply having a computer in the lobby is not sufficient for a business traveler like myself.Desired Settlement: Last night's stay refunded since checking out would have still incurred the cost due to the hotel's cancellation policy.
