hope they read the contract when they sign or listen to us when we explain the contract to them)As we promised to our customer in previous and as the customer letter indicates, we will gladly pay half of the cost of the key and the key"s programming. Please, let them know to bring their car to balboa motors and we will take care of the key and the key's programming and they are only obligated to the half of the cost which will be $90.00 (per the latest estimate, the cost of the key $120 and cost of the programming $65.00)I guess our customer misunderstood Balboa Motors with the original estimated quote which Balboa Motors got from [redacted] dealership (key $120 and Maximum 120 for programming). The total of $240 will be divided between Balboa Motors and customer evenly, but we find different programmer who was only going to charge us $65.00. Claims that the business has tried to contact me with no response on my end are false. Ive brought by car in more than five times for this issue and other issues, and most of the times if not every single time, we had a conversation about the key.I did not misunderstand the business by any means. They told me that the quote was $245, not that there was a possibility that the programming price could be $60-$120. They 100% for a fact knew that the key was $120, and the programming price was $60 before I even left their dealership because they told me not to get the programming done through them, and they found it cheaper elsewhere. If they knew this before, why would they even give me a price range? If the programming was cheaper than $60, then they would have known that the total price was less than $180, and he wouldn't have told me to pay $120.I feel completely taken advantage of by this business. This was my first car buying experience, and it had been absolutely terrible. I just want to be able to open my car without the alarm going off. If the business pays for the entire price of the key and the programming, I will mark this issue as resolved.
