This was by far my worst rental experience. The ladies at Balboa Newport Realty are not only unprofessional and rude, but they are extremely shady as well. Renting a house under 1500 square feet should not result in such an expensive cleaning fee deduction from the security deposit. On their website they say the fee should range from $175-$400 depending on the size of the home. Being charged nearly double that is absolutely ridiculous!! I would NOT recommend using Balboa Newport Realty for renting any homes. They will steal your money, give you invoices from companies that do not exist, send you phone numbers to the "cleaning company" that also does not work, and the phone numbers are only linked to random little homes. They will not tell you why they charge you so much money, they will not give you any breakdowns...everything they do is extremely shady. I would NOT recommend using this company.
