I am sorry for your troubleI know it's difficult when these things occur
I will try to recap what you already know:
1. We replaced a coil for you in *** which had a year part only warranty at the time. Your original install was in *** for a new home. The price you paid at that time was a coil in warranty price for labor and items not covered. Our labor warranty on that was year from the date we performed this service for you. *** provided the coil at no cost. This did NOT give you an additional years on the coil. Your part warranty was years from the date of Original installation, per manufacturer
2. You original part warranty expired in *** on this coil
3. You have a Home Warranty who sent out there authorized AC company to diagnose your no cool issue. You have indicated they found a leak in the evaporator coil. Your Home Warranty company denied the claim because the AC company indicated it was rusty. I have heard of this happening. I wish there was a better answer for you. I would go back to your Home Warranty company and lodge your complaint there
4. You called us to help but we didn't have the coil Model and serial# in our system.
5. In order to properly help you, we must diagnose the problem our self anyway for *** to take our recommendation. I did check the model and serial number you provided on this complaint. You had an original year part warranty. This coil only has a year warranty by itself. In *** your coil was replaced under the original Part warranty. You get year part on the coil when installed with a specific outside unit at the same time. That expired in ***
6. *** offered to reduce our diagnosis fee and then offered to take that fee off the price of replacing the coil if you went with us
7. You wanted us to come out at our expense for something that was not our responsibility. You had not had us out since the coil replacement in *** for any other issue. Any good AC company would want to verify any diagnosis and would charge for that service. I understand your pain and not wanting to spend any money on this. You want someone to take the pain away. I am sorry this has happened to you but we did our part in *** and it appears to be the only time you ever used us
8. *** could not continue the phone call as there was no reasoning with you any longer and you would not agree to pay us for our service
I am sorry but we don't have responsibility for this. I wish you well. The other AC company should be able to provide you a price on coil replacement as they have diagnosed the problem already

The Rust problem was this time, the time your co .replaced it, I was informed that it
was not upto code regards drain pan and float switch and therefore no warranty, any way I have got the job done, sorry we could not do business, and for your information the cost to replace it with no warranty on the coil was the same,your Cocharged with warranty on it , hence the discontentThanks Clem
