Re: Response to ID [redacted]
Dear Revdex.com,
Thank you for notifying our dealership of Mrs. [redacted]'s recent complaint. In response to your letter, I
immediately contacted Mrs. [redacted] to review her...

experience at our dealership. We spoke for several
minutes over the phone around 2:15pm on Oct 24th 2014. I decided to take my technician, who
originally diagnosed her 2009 Kia Sportage on Oct. 3rd 2014, to her home and re-inspect her vehicle. We
arrived at Mrs. [redacted]s home around 2:45pm Oct 24th 2014 and inspected her vehicle. We couldn't find
any fire damage under the hood, we inspected the oil stick and it showed a % quart overfull. My
technician attempted to start the Kia but was unsuccessful. His opinion was that the starter needs to be
replaced. We explained to Mrs. [redacted] that her vehicle has several issues wrong, also explained to her
on Oct 3rd 2014 as recommended services, and for us to fully reinspect the vehicle we would need to lift
it up in the air at our shop. I offered to tow Mrs. [redacted]s Sportage to our shop at our expense, but
explained that the repairs would have a cost and need to be paid. She said she could not afford the
repairs at this time and declined my offer. My technician recommended a new starter and possibly a
new radiator due to its current leaking condition. I recommended she get the repairs done soon either
at our dealership or some other repair shop. We want Mrs. [redacted] to know we'll give her discounts off
of the parts and repair cost to get her vehicle running again.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

[redacted] complaint)Dear [redacted]: I am the attorney for Ball Automotive Group ('"Ball"). the Revdex.com Member business againstwhich [redacted] filed her initial complaint on February 3, 2015. Before receiving [redacted] complaint (which was forwarded to me by Ball'smanagement on February 11th) Ball's employee, the "[redacted]" mentioned in [redacted]complaint letter had telephoned me and asked me for advice on how to address [redacted]concerns (which, to my knowledge, had not yet them devolved into a Revdex.com complaint). I requested that [redacted] send me Ms. [redacted] transactional deal file so that I couldacquaint myself with the facts and properly advise Ball. I did not receive [redacted] file until Monday, February 9th, and because I wasscheduled for Jury Duty on Tuesday Feb 10th. I did not have the opportunity to study [redacted] file until Wednesday, February 11. Upon reviewing [redacted] file it was evident that the automobile that she leased fromBall was properly repossessed by Ball because of [redacted] admitted non-payment of severallease payments. At that time the automobile was located in [redacted], and Ball expendedapproximately $1,000.00 to have the automobile transported from [redacted] back to Ball'sNational City, California location. At that time, it was determined that in addition to the unpaidlease payments and transportation costs, [redacted] was then indebted to Ball in the amount ofapproximately $7,000.00 for early lease termination/repossession related charges. At that time, however, given [redacted] representations regarding her fragile economic circumstances, Ballelected not to pursue collection of any deficiency balance due on account of the early terminationof the lease and repossession of the automobile. Accordingly, at this time [redacted] is notindebted to Ball for any sum whatsoever. Notwithstanding the foregoing circumstances, however, it was proper for Ball to reportthe repossession of the automobile as just that, a valid repossession, and that repossession factwill remain on [redacted] credit profile. Ball will, however, send a correction note to allcredit reporting agencies to whose services Ball subscribes, indicating that although the fact ofthe repossession should remain on [redacted] credit report, any indication of a monetarybalance due and owing by [redacted] to Ball should be deleted from [redacted] creditreport. I reached [redacted] by telephone on Wednesday, February 11th, and informed her ofthe foregoing facts and circumstances. At that time I requested that [redacted] give me writtenauthorization for Ball to run a current "credit check" on her, so that Ball could determine how thecredit reporting agencies to whJch Ball subscribes are currently reporting on the status of heraccount with Ball. When I receive [redacted] authorization letter, and the new credit reports are run byBall, I will then write to the credit reporting aaencies, on Ball's behalf, and request anappropriate corrective entry on any notations regarding [redacted] account with Ball, deletingany mention of a current debt due, but authorizing the continued reporting of a properrepossession. During my phone conversation with [redacted], I also told her that I was authorized byBall to write a letter to her, which she could forward to her bank, reflecting that she is notpresently indebted to Ball for any sum whatsoever. As soon as I receive the aforementionedwritten authorization for Ball to run a new "credit check" on [redacted], and the resulting creditreports, I will forward a copy of my letter to the credit reporting agencies to both [redacted] tothe Revdex.com. Should you have any questions or comments regarding this matter, please don't hesitateto contact me.  Yours very truly, [redacted]JPO:**Cc: [redacted]
