Indeed this customer did purchase a vehicle satellite system from us and we installed that system in late April 2017.After that install, the customer returned to us with a complaint that water was leaking into the vehicle We re-examined our install and felt that all was correct To be
100% certain, we added a silicon seal to that point of ingress.Mr*** returned at a later date and informed us that the vehicle continued to leak We informed him that a window leak was a know issue with his vehicle - in fact a Google Search of the phrase "dodge ram rear window leak" returned 203,hits - see: ***We suggested that he take his truck to a Dodge dealer and if our installation was a fault, we would certainly compensate him for that repair.That was an unsatisfactory solution for this customer, so we then offered, AT NO CHARGE, to take another look at his vehicle at our other Roanoke location That conversation was on 5/25/2017, and our *** *** store manager emphasized to this customer that with a year history of customer service, we would certainly take responsibility IF the fault was ours We then agreed with this customer to schedule a FREE service appointment with him at our *** location for Monday, May 29th.After this discussion, the customer went to our Facebook page, left us a one star rating and then filed this Revdex.com complaint.So to summarize We:1) Installed a satellite radio.2) Examined at no charge our initial install.3) Suggested that since our install looked correct AND given the numerous Internet searchable water leak known incidents that he take his track to a Dodge dealer AND if in fact the cause of his leak was due to our installation error, we would reimburse him.4) When #wasn't acceptable, we agreed to look at his vehicle, again at NO CHARGE, at another location and with the customer's agreement, booked an appointment to do exactly that a few days forward.We feel that we have been reasonable with Mr***, and continue to attempt to resolve this issue to the best of our ability
