I am rejecting this response because: My complaint aboutthe job withJim Ball was discussed in great detailThe job entailed paintingand doing minor repairs on the door frame on the outside of my house, paintingthe garage frame, minor repairs and painting a window box and painting theshutters(The shutters were discussed at a later time)I asked this companyif they were able to remove/fix the caulk on the door frame and they agreed todo the best they couldI was in full agreement with thisI NEVER mentionedreplacing the frame or replacing wood in any area as that was not in the workscope, as they indicate in their statementThis also was not in the approvalsubmitted to my AssociationI never mentioned changing the price as it wasalready accepted at $ The Father came over my house on a day when heknew I was unavailable to collect a deposit as he was suppose to come the nextdayHe left a message on my voice mail When I returned the call he hadevery excuse why he would not be doing the job after acceptance of thejobI also never changed the work scope with the Father, however he was tryingto change the work scope by only agreeing to paint and not do the minor repairsincluded in the priceI never said the job was $Originally the job was$(without painting the shutters) and I asked what the additional cost wouldbe for painting the shutters and it was $bringing the new total to $andI acceptedI can provide this documentation if neededThis is not afraudulent claim and I have documentation to prove thisI have a written agreementwhich shows acceptance of this job by both partiesThe other job this company did for me I was not gettinganything for freeI painted my bathroom and asked for touch up of the walls,painting the ceiling, painting the trim and painting the inside of the closet whichis documented as part of the quote I received and acceptedI can provide thisdocumentation if neededThe job was done incomplete (part of one of the walls wasnot painted) and JIm Ball had to come back to complete the jobWe never had any type of verbal agreement as I alwaysrequire everything to be in writingI feel this company has caused defamationof my character and am very hurt by their comments which they are lying aboutIwould only submit a claim that was true and accurateNow I am facing a finefrom my association as this maintenance work was required and not completed bythis companyI had been advised that this was not an honest company afterdiscussing this experience with others and found out too lateThey did notcommunicate well and keep giving me excuses when I asked when they could comeout to do this job and also took a long time to get their Insurance certificateto my AssociationI never received a copy which I had asked for several times.I am very professional in working with contractors and expect the same in return.Unfortunately, I did not receive this fromJim Ball

We discussed doing this job last year before winter.The weather became cold and we weren't able to do the work.The original work was for trim on her front side of the house[redacted] used excessive silicone caulk on a frame outside of the front door.We agreed that I wasn't responsible to scrape it...

off.As we discussed the job further she would fluctuate on the caulk.At times she would say she knows we can't get it off and at others saying if we don't get it off we would have to replace the frame or lower the price.As spring came around she insisted not only we take the caulk off for the same price but we replace wood in different areas.As my father talked to her and asked for a deposit she insisted that we do this extra work.My father never went for a deposit as he told her we aren't doing this extra stuff.I really don't understand who told her that he was coming there for a deposit and going to take the deposit without doing the work.He is a very honest person and would never take a hundred dollar deposit and not do the work.The price for the job was only $400 and she also kept saying it was $350.We are a very honest and respectful business and have many recommendations and very high ratings on many sites.This complaint is very flaudulent and also defamation of character and also outright lies.We had a verbal agreement which she never kept at any time.I did one other job for her and should have known how she tries to get things done for free and get the price lowered.We did a living room and supposedly touchup in a bathroom which ended in us doing the whole room for free.I have never been dishonest or cheated anyone in my business or anywhere else.We do things in a very old school way and this experience really hurts.
