The studio policy is clear, and was also the same policy from the previous ownerThe performance deposit is forfeited upon early departure of the school or session or with drawl from the performanceThis parent and her friend have gotten together and decided to bully me and my family by filling a complaint with the Revdex.com After speaking her her husband on the phone the other day, he informed me that they "wanted to get my attention somehow" and actually brought me to tears As her text clearly indicates, I re-itterate performance fee is non refundableI WAS willing to help them out and make an exception, however, at this point I am unwilling to be bullied into straying from our policy

Revdex.com,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintFor your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.-First, we have been told that we have signed a paper for the Alice In Wonderland performance, yet we have yet to see that,-AgainI questioned the deposit for the Alice in Wonderland Fee, due to the fact we were paying it so early (before we even entered the spring session)My children were unsure of doing this performance and this is the concern that I brought to ***I was told that this was necessary to hold their spot in the performance, but if we choose to pull out before the spring semester we could get our fee back,-Due to the policy as stated in the hand book that the deposit is forfeited due to early departure, we did not make an early departureThe school is set in semesters September-December, January-June, and summer is an optionWe left on the break between the December and January our session was paid in full but the performance fee was for the Spring SeasonSo we did as followed and told them we were leaving before the next semester startedThat is why I am asking for our deposit back,-We were told on four different occasions that we would get our money back*** said she gave her word on it, yet we have not seen any attempt or any proof that she is going to honor her wordWe patiently waited for after her maternity leave, all the while never given a definite date, or payment plan as to when it would be given just its next in lineWe have waited over months.-We have tried to do everything in a professional business like way, this is the reason why we went to the Revdex.com to find a resolution to this problem, but we keep getting and unprofessional attitudeBy saying that we are bulling her and her familyWE have NEVER threatened nor talked in any ill way to her or her familyThe phone call that was referenced in the last response with my husband was Her reactionIt was not to bring a resolution or solution in any wayInstead it was a call to put a blame on us she said because we went to the Revdex.com we ruined her business and we are taking from her familyThen there was a lot of loud yelling, screaming and cryingMy husband made many attempts to try and talk to her but she was just irrationalSo after times calmly stating to her to please "stop yelling please...I can't understand you." He finally stated "Please call me back when you are able to pull yourself together I am going to hang up now." Yet we still have not had a response to that as well. This is a concern we have , this is not the first time emotional breakdowns have happened we have know it to happen to other parents and we have seen it in practices in other performancesDue to the anxiety my children feel as they got ready for ballet and other concerns I choose not to go into.We are just trying to find some accountabilityYou gave your word and we want you to follow throughWith this we have nothing further to add on our partWe still seek our resolution for the return of our $for services not performed or provided, and a written apology, to make us whole.
Regards,

Revdex.com,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintFor your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Ballet of Coeur d Alene verbally agreed to give me my full refund of $on Janfor the recital of Alice in Wonderland which was to be held in the spring of at NIC I made the deposit in Oct My daughter ended the fall session in Decand never attended the spring session Their policy manual states that their school is run on sessions We did not leave mid session, we left at the end of the fall session The school did not do The Alice in Wonderland Recital at NIC this spring, so how could I be pull my daughter out of a recital that was never performed? What happened to my $125.00? *** *** verbally agreed to give me back the money *** texted to other parents that left her school stated that she would refund them the full fee back *** isn't consistent with her own policy and what she says to her students and parents of her students How can I be bulling her when in fact she is trying to bully me by accusing me of harassment, bulling her during her pregnancy, which I only contacted her times in Jan (email, and texted twice) and making accusations about how upset my daughter was with a part she got in the Nutcracker None of those have anything to do with my claim *** is upset that my daughter and several other girls left after the fall session She is trying to come up with excuses not to pay what is owed to me I have no idea why she keeps talking about the Nutcracker My daughter was fine with her part I even provided dinner for *** and her family twice during rehearsal of the Nutcracker If we were upset with the part, would we have done that If *** wants to know why my daughter choose not to come back, she is more than welcome to contact me She needs to stop accusing my daughter and I of being disgruntled This is not the case As for her issues with her pregnancy, I waited months before I proceeded with my claim to see if she would do the right thing That is plenty of time to have a baby and return from maturity leave I was very considerate on the issue If fact, I have been nothing but nice I am very shock how intransigent *** is being on this It is her business and reputation on the line You would think she would do the right thing Coeur d Alene is a small community after all
Regards,
*** ***

The studio policy is clearThe performance deposit is forfeited upon early departure of the school or session or with drawl from the performanceI was bullied by this family while pregnant and continue to be bullied over something as silly as her daughter being cast as a "cookie" instead of a "party girl" I am still unwilling to be bullied into straying from a national standard policy I offered a solution to which they rejectedI cannot continue to go back and forth about this; there just isn't an argument

Our policy about tuition and performance fees are posted on our website, student handbook, and our performance agreementI sent this parent an email to remind her of our policy, when she did not get the answer she wanted, she kept sending text messages asking when she would receive a refundI
asked her to not text me anymore in regards to the performance fee and that I was feeling harassed by her and if she texted me again that the proper authorities would be contacted, she texted me again! I called the local authorities and explained that I was months pregnant and not feeling safe They assured me they would take care of it and call her and also made several patrols to the studio for extra precaution. Below I have included the links and specific aspects of our student handbook that pertain to this mothers complaint Please note that families are also mailed hard copies of the handbook to their home address, provided by the parent, when they register their studentI would also like to comment this a very standard policy among ballet schools through the area and most of the United StatesI feel the bottom line here this parent is disgruntled and upset about her daughters achievement in the school and her Nutcracker role and feel they deserve a refund because they are upsetHowever, the policy is very clear, and is in place for occasions such as this. This parent is upset that her daughter did not receive the part she wanted in our Nutcracker performance To which I received a text claiming she did not know her daughter had to take ballet class in order to get the part she wanted in the performanceShe also claimed that her daughter was very up set that she did not promoted to the next level in the school even after her teacher warned her several times that if she did not take the required amount of classes per level that she would not be able to move up Our student hand book and policy states that if a student cannot attend the required amount of classes they will actually be excused from the level I did not do this with this family as there were always "excuses" as to why she wasn't in classHer mother had her take private lessons and assumed that would "make up" for missing weeks of summer classes (classes) Her mother said to me "So and so missed more classes than my daughter...you treat other dancers that have been with you less than months betterShe has very hurt feelings." I asked her repeatedly to have the conversation another time as it was 8:(hours after closing) and on my wedding anniversaryRegardless of this, I offered to let the student stay enrolled in the school and allow her to move up to the next level with her cohorts.***
