2016. The employee working with Mr***, no longer works for Ballman Exteriors. The previous employee also failed to inform us about the work to be performed at Mr***’s home. The file and information about Mr***’s roof project was discovered in the middle of July. Since then, we have a put a new job tracking system into place in our office. Ballman Exteriors hired a subcontractor, who has worked with many other roofing and siding companies in the area, to complete the work at Mr***’s home the first part of August. Once on the jobsite at Mr***’s home, we did run into some issues. We found that the employee who no longer works for Ballman Exteriors, did not order the correct or enough materials. Additional materials needed to be ordered, which takes approxweeks. We had no choice but to move on to another job while we waited for materials. Ballman Exteriors sent the same subcontractor to another whole house exterior remodel. We also ran into issues on the that job. The subcontractor lost some employees, and the amount of rain days we’ve had the last few weeks, greatly extended the amount of time the subcontractor was on that job. I have spoken to Mr*** a few times. When I have talked to Mr***, I have told him we would be back to his house, but the time frame has continued to be extended due to the weather and issues we’ve ran into on the other jobsite. I understand Mr***’s perspective and how it appears that we have continually made excuses. I would be upset too. However, these circumstances were unforeseeable and not intentional. Ballman Exteriors has since parted ways with this subcontractor. Another subcontract crew, whom we have extensive history with, will complete the work at Mr***’s home beginning October 10th, pending weather. Sincerely, Trent ***Residential ManagerBallman Exteriors
