Review: Brought in my car into this local shop to have the power steering pump changed..*This same local shop has just recently done my [redacted] inspection and in fact actually inspects the car every year so they know first hand how well maintained and well running this older but good car is. Simply needed a new steering pump- that's it.Discussed the details of the job, as well as cost (exact quoted price) what was involved and what exactly should be included,. pump, pulley, fluid, fluid supply and recirculation lines(3) drive belt etc,. price quoted and agreed upon as such, at drop off.Was called the next day by the gentlemen working on my car ([redacted]) who represented himself as the foreman or lead mechanic- said job was done-come pick up.Arrived and inspected car to the best of my ability, mainly to check or confirm operation of steering pump function before then paying bill at the ExxonMobil casher/counter located there on-site.Drove home and after parking car immediately discovered a sizable leak coming from the area where the work had been performed, which appeared to me to clearly be anti-freeze.Drove directly back to shop and reported the issue immediately to same "[redacted]" person (same day- 20 min afterwards) who then, with further inspection was able to confirm himself and without denial appeared to clearly be the result of a now damage radiator,. directly in the path and on the same side of the vehicle-engine as they had been working, which now under the spot light you could also see was not done completely itself, with the for mentioned and agreed upon hose and associated parts changes also not done.Asked what he suggested what could or should be done to correct.. [redacted] refused to take responsibility for either the unfinished portion of the job or the damage now done to the radiator that had itself now made the vehicle at this point un-drivable/un-useable suggesting instead that I could or should pay an additional $350 for a new radiator now as well.Please call for any further details [redacted]Desired Settlement: In addition to record of conduct that I imagine should be kept for these actions.. I would expect either full refund and or job completed with now needed radiator replaced to make car/van operational again.
