Baltimore Counseling Center

This complaint is about Baltimore Counseling Center's billing person Anne *** I have been going to this center for many years for depression. I have paid each time I go for an appoint with a check for the amount my insurance does not cover. I missed a few appointments over the summer. Ever since then Ann *** has told me I cant make any appointments until my bill is paid. I have been making steady payments. My most recent bill charged me $50 for a "no show" appt. in January. I have not been to this center since August. I believe other people at this center have had the same thing happen to them. I went in on Saturday, April 11, 2020 to make a payment and to question the no show charge on my bill. It was agreed that this was wrong. THe total bill was $123.00 including the false $50.00 charge. I gave them a check for $70.00. In the meantime I have requested a refill on my depression medicine that ran out last week. I was told I cannot get a refill on my prescription. She also said I could not speak to Anyone there except her (and she works part-time and does not return phone calls. I believe it is wrong to deprive someone of depression medicine anytime but especially now with the shutdown. If you go to Baltimore Counseling and look at the reviews, you will see the numerous complaints and rude treatment of clients.
