Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We were not provided with copies of any documents of any type on the day of pick-upWe did not receive "How to Protect My Move," as the carrier claimsWe took photographs of the documents that I was made to sign because they refused to provide us with hard copies - the photos are attached here (forms are not attached because of the limited number of attachments that can be included through this format - Accessorial & Special Services form and Packing Materials form)Furthermore, my signature was forged on the inventory documents that the business just provided - my explanation is belowFirst, you can see that the Order for Service form with my signature on it is not filled in completely in the photographYou can also clearly see in the photograph that I did not sign the "Waiver of Physical Survey." However, on the copy that the business provided, my signature is there, under some kind of smudge, and clearly written with a different pen than the signature belowThat is not my signature - it was added later by someone elseAlso, the information on the copy that the business attached in their response was clearly filled out later, after I was forced to sign the bottomThe Bill of Lading (original) that I have attached here also clearly has my signature on it before it was completely filled outRegarding the inventory that was attached by the business, that document was not presented to us at the time of pick-up, nor were we provided with a copy of it at pior deliveryMy signature is clearly forged on that document for the following reasons: (1) If I had signed it, we would have taken a picture of it just like we did with the other documents; (2) The man who picked up our items wrote a numbered list on a piece of scrap paper, not on a triplicate form like the document that the business has provided here; (3) one bookshelf and one kitchen chair are listed as "broken" at piwhen in fact these items were broken during the move and were documented as such; (4) those inventories are dated as being signed on delivery on 8/23/when delivery was in fact on 8/8/The date of delivery is reflected on the triplicate copy of the Bill of Lading (final), also attached hereThis triplicate copy is the only physical documentation that we received from this business - it was given to us on delivery on 8/8/Additionally, when I was informed on July 12, that the company had an inventory with my signature on it, I asked for this document to be emailed to meIt was never sent to me, despite multiple requests via phone and emailIt seems clear now that this document was not produced until now because my signature on it had been forgedSince I am providing clear evidence of blank documents with my signature, as well as evidence that my signature was forged multiple times, the legitimacy of any documents with my signature that are provided by this business must be called into questionIt is also clear that they did not provide an updated inventory at the time of pick-up, because if they had, there would be no need to forge my signatureWithout that updated inventory, they were bound by the quote as clearly stated by federal Department of Transportation regulations, and therefore had no right to charge us more money than stated in the original binding estimateAs such, we are entitled to a refund in the amount of $ Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:We were not provided with copies of any documents of any type on the day of pick-up. We did not receive "How to Protect My Move," as the carrier claims. We took photographs of the documents that I was made to sign because they refused to provide us with hard copies - the photos are attached here (2 forms are not attached because of the limited number of attachments that can be included through this format - Accessorial & Special Services form and Packing Materials form). Furthermore, my signature was forged on the inventory documents that the business just provided - my explanation is below. First, you can see that the Order for Service form with my signature on it is not filled in completely in the photograph. You can also clearly see in the photograph that I did not sign the "Waiver of Physical Survey." However, on the copy that the business provided, my signature is there, under some kind of smudge, and clearly written with a different pen than the signature below. That is not my signature - it was added later by someone else. Also, the information on the copy that the business attached in their response was clearly filled out later, after I was forced to sign the bottom. The Bill of Lading (original) that I have attached here also clearly has my signature on it before it was completely filled out. Regarding the inventory that was attached by the business, that document was not presented to us at the time of pick-up, nor were we provided with a copy of it at pick-up or delivery. My signature is clearly forged on that document for the following reasons: (1) If I had signed it, we would have taken a picture of it just like we did with the other documents; (2) The man who picked up our items wrote a numbered list on a piece of scrap paper, not on a triplicate form like the document that the business has provided here; (3) one bookshelf and one kitchen chair are listed as "broken" at pick-up when in fact these items were broken during the move and were documented as such; (4) those inventories are dated as being signed on delivery on 8/23/15 when delivery was in fact on 8/8/15. The date of delivery is reflected on the triplicate copy of the Bill of Lading (final), also attached here. This triplicate copy is the only physical documentation that we received from this business - it was given to us on delivery on 8/8/15. Additionally, when I was informed on July 12, 2016 that the company had an inventory with my signature on it, I asked for this document to be emailed to me. It was never sent to me, despite multiple requests via phone and email. It seems clear now that this document was not produced until now because my signature on it had been forged. Since I am providing clear evidence of blank documents with my signature, as well as evidence that my signature was forged multiple times, the legitimacy of any documents with my signature that are provided by this business must be called into question. It is also clear that they did not provide an updated inventory at the time of pick-up, because if they had, there would be no need to forge my signature. Without that updated inventory, they were bound by the quote as clearly stated by federal Department of Transportation regulations, and therefore had no right to charge us more money than stated in the original binding estimate. As such, we are entitled to a refund in the amount of $1590.43.

I Attached the documents that she signed and we provided a copy to her once they were signed. We never make anyone sign blank documents but it is true that we did not provide to her the booklet of "Rights and Responsibilities". Though we did not provide this booklet to her we gave her a print out of...

"How To Protect My Move" which gives her a link where she can get a copy of the "rights and Responsibilities" ( www.protectyourmove.gov ) . The reason she was over charged was because she had more goods then what she mentioned on the phone. More items caused the pounds to get higher and the price as well. The over charge had its reason and the most we can do is send her to the claim for any lost or damaged items Only. Our claim department is called [redacted] and can be reached at [redacted] or she can also vist their website at www.mymoveclaim.com. After she contacts them they will provide her instructions and assistance. Sorry we do not agree for the Money she is demanding for the overcharge because we had our reason. She had 8,500 pounds and gave her a rate of 0.65 per pound which totaled to be $5,525 plus 9% fuel charge which is $497.25 extra along with $92 for Materials ending with an Estimate Fee of $872.42. All these services totaled up to $6,986.67

I am rejecting this response because:When I...

Since [redacted] did not except my response we would like to refund the $100 extra charge for the extra stairs. I had someone sent to the storage to find his TV and Self and the goods were found. We will have it sent by this week.

We The Ultimate movers (Carrier) were hired by [redacted] (Broker) to transport [redacted]'s belongings from Erie, PA to Sarasota, FL. [redacted] quoted [redacted] for 819 cubes and gave him a rate of $2.59 per cube. We arrived at the origin July 1, 2016 with a 26 foot truck which...

can hold up to 1,800 cubes. Unfortunately, once we loaded his goods there was items that did not fit into the truck because he had more then what was quoted. We tried to take as much things as possible with us but once again only 1,800 cubes fit in the truck. If we were aware that [redacted] had more items we would have came prepared. We were expecting a job of 819 cubes but we were only able to take 1,800 cubes. We revised his estimate for an extra 981 cubes and what ever items were left behind we quoted him another price. [redacted] was quoted 819 cubes which had an outcome to be 1,800 cubes. We already notified to [redacted] that his things will be sent out July 14, 2016 (Today) and we also made sure that he was aware that delivery can take up to 21 days and this information is also provided on our contract. If [redacted] has any questions he can always reach me at my direct number which is [redacted] [redacted] or if he has any question in regards to delivery he can contact the truck driver at ([redacted].
