I originally signed my toddler children up for the Spring 2020 Mommy & me class, but this became a virtual only class due to Covid. We opted to move my children to the Summer 2020 class. When the time came for this class, I was still uneasy about allowing them to join due to the present of Covid. I was denied a refund when asked and expressed my concerns. *** Pat, assured me that safety precautions would be in place to protect my children. He stated in writing via email that masks would be required by all participating adults, sanitizer would be provided and used between each scrimmage game, and there could only be one adult per participating child. My husband and I attended only the first two weeks since the coaches, who represent the company, weren't even wearing masks, they weren't enforcing the other adults to, sanitizer was not being used the first week, and there was no one enforcing the limitations on extra adults present at sessions. I notified Pat via email of my concerns and asked for at least a partial refund since he didn't live up to his promises that were necessary to protect my children. He said he would look into it and now has since ignored me regarding any resolution.
Refund I would like a refund of the charges for my two children since the owner and business did not enforce or practice the promised safety measures to protect the participants. My total cost was $180 plus registration fees as the cost per child is $90.
Our spring program was scheduled to start mid-March and we delayed two weeks then on April 7th as spring looked it was not going to be a possibility we offered 3 options to all parents (Refund minus $24 what we could not get back from vendors, Move to a different season or do the virtual spring).
The family chose to move to summer. When they reached out this summer after the mid-point (4th week) we exchanged several emails and informed them that we were out of town due to a family emergency and would look into anything we could give back and let them know it may not be a lot since 4 weeks of the season had been completed.
Then about a week later the mother emailed following up and early the next morning we replied saying that a check for $30 was in the mail and that we were trying to sell the shirts that were apart of their registration as well. We use a different color shirt every season and usually go about 4 years before repeating colors.
