Mike and Mark were both great. I have put on over 800 miles on my car and it has proven to be a great bargain and gets 34 mpg!! They came in on a Saturday afternoon to accommodate my schedule and did not let me leave until I was completely satisfied.
Just general FYI for used car shopping, when you are buying a car in the $3000 range, YOU are taking a gamble. These cars are high mileage and may not have complete maintenance. If you buy a used car and it takes a dump within hours off the lot then yes you can point a finger at the dealer MAYBE. But they get these cars cheap and they sell them cheap. The BUYER assumes the risk the car may take dump in a month or 2. This is the inherent risk in buying a used car. Go on CarFax and research the car's history for accidents and maintenance records, if it checks out reasonably, then take the risk and buy a car from these guys, that's what I did.
If you can't accept that risk, then maybe leasing is better economical choice. With the being said, I think any sensible consumer who understands the risk of buying a used car would be hard pressed to find a more customer service and integrity driven dealer to deal with. I know I will be back in the future when I need another car.
I was a patron of this business for the last ten years. I took several cars to him for repairs. My immediate and extended family also patronized his business. I recommended my close friends to him. Recently in this past year I purchased a car from him. He took my money along with my current car, which he gave me well below blue book for, and sold me a car he was incredibly dishonest about. The second I drove off the lot the check engine light came on; I immediately returned and hooked it up to a computer to tell me the issue. One of his mechanics lied straight to my face about the readout on the computer. I have since taken the car to a reputable business and I have learned just to make my car legal, to pass Wisconsin state emissions, it will cost around $1000.00. The current mechanic has explained to me in great detail just how badly I was scammed with this purchase. No one should ever take their cars to this mechanic or ever purchase a vehicle from him.
