We set up to have a metal roof put on our homeWe had a contract made upPaid a down payment of around half of the costThe owner stated that the metal roofing would be in within a few weeks and we would get started as soon as it came inAbout weeks later, he text stating the metal was in and they would start as soon as they were finished at the job they were at (said it would be another day there then he would be to us by Thursday)A few days later, we contacted the owner to see where they were, he stated they got hung up at their current job and would be to us by the middle of the weekStill never cameHe claimed his truck broke down, but didn't have the courtesy to let us know anything, making us sit and waitWe kept getting a run around from him about when he was starting our roof, there was always an excuse as to why they couldn't or why they weren't thereWhen they finally got to our place (after we threatened legal action), it had been almost monthsThey finally finished the roofBut, they didn't clean up very well when their day was finishedWe had them come out and re-clean a few times because of the amount of things left laying aroundWhen they were finished, the owner was writing up the invoice in his truckHis workers told us they replaced x amount of boards, the owner stated that there were about more than that replaced and got upset and left when he was told that his workers told us a different numberWe then got a text the next day about the balance, with no invoiceWe asked for an invoice and he finally got us one later that eveningThe invoice showed the amount of boards the workers stated, not what the owner told usHe then demanded payment, and asked for cashWe informed him that since it was the evening, we would have to got to the bank, switch things around from one account to another, and get him a checkHe made it seem like we were trying to not pay him, when in reality, no one carries $4000+ in cash aroundHe stated that he was giving us a day to pay itWe told him he would have to wait until Monday, since it was the weekend and our bank was not open on weekendsHe was rude, and extremely pushy for the paymentWe ended up writing a check, per our bank's recommendationThe roof looks great, I will say thatThe workers were polite and diligentThe owner is what made this entire experience not worth itWe will not recommend this company to anyone because of that
