I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedIn the future please advise your staff this is not just about customer satisfactory but about the life of a year old child who ended up in the pediatric ICU because they refused treatmentI, Myself worked as a Supervisor in the Emergency room and Urgent Care and know the child should have been assessed before having to wait around to contact billing and then be turned away because of your billing errorAt current time I am still receiving bills from your facility when I have repeatedly called you and have been told by your staff that it will be fixed.I spoke with my son's insurance and they have not received a claim for your facility, and I don't feel this bill should still be submitted to themBut regardless in the future please advise your staff that no child or person's life should ever have a dollar value.Regards,

reported. We have responded directly to the complainant regarding concerns raised in the complaint.  With regards to customer service, we are sorry that we did not meet the expectations of the customer. We are an after-hours pediatric urgent care and we accept patients on a walk-in basis. We see patients appropriately based on medical need, not for financial reasons. We see patients as quickly as we can, while ensuring that we provide quality care in the process. As a private entity, not associated with a hospital system, we are not subject to EMTALA. Having said that, we would never do harm to a patient and we would not advise patients to seek care elsewhere unless we felt that we could not provide the appropriate level of care. We are disappointed that we were not able to meet the expectations of the customer.
