Bands In Town blatantly advertised a concert on the Grand Romance boat in Long Beach, CA; stating that the line up would consist of major rappers: Juicy J, YG, RJ and Dom KennedyHowever, this was and none of the rappers performedI consistently asked before boarding if any of the artist were going to perform, but I was told repeatedly that they had know idea and referred me to someone elseI was clearly getting the run aroundI couldn't even enjoy the festivities due to disappointmentI along with a group of friends purchased ticketsWe all were very unsatisfied with our purchase

Company advertised a concert so I purchased tickets through Stubhub and their adverisement was 100% so I lost a couple hundred dollars on selling the tickets I had purchased I went to the company and the reviewed it and simply said that since I had not bought tickets from them that they would not reimburse me If that’s not advertisement then I don’t know what is I want my money I lost back from them

The website falsely advertised a line up at a concertThe company refuses to refund the money even though they posted information

disappointed to learn that he is not satisfied with our services, however, we strongly disagree with this individual’s claim and his assessment of our services.The individual in question is the publisher of a website to which we provide advertisements from our advertising clients. In order to provide the best possible service our advertising clients, we have rules regarding the placement of their advertisements on our network of websites. These rules include the location of the ads, the number of ads per page and how the ads are displayed. It is the responsibility of each web publisher to ensure that these rules are followed on their site.This particular website publishing customer was given several warnings that his use of our services and integration of advertising from our advertiser clients on his website was in violation of our rules. As evidenced by our email communications with the customer, at all times our interaction with him was courteous and professional. Despite our attempts to work with the customer to implement our requested changes, including providing the services of our own development team free of charge, the customer was unable or unwilling to make the requested changes to his website.As a result of the customer’s repeated violations of our rules and the impact that violations could have on our other customers, we have terminated our relationship with this publisher and have discontinued our advertising service on this particular publisher’s website and have informed the publisher accordingly.We hope that this has effectively resolved this matter.Best regards,Bandsintown

We very much regret that a Bandsintown alert was sent out for a show stating that certain rap artists were going to be performing when in fact they did not perform. Bandsintown Concerts is a service that aggregates concert information from a variety of sources and then makes the information that is...

relevant to consumers available to consumers free of charge. We certainly take pride in trying to provide the best set of reliable event data to our users; however, Bandsintown does not control such information and thus we cannot always ensure that such information is always 100% accurate. In this case, one of our ticketing partners, [redacted], had listed those artists in their feed for this event, and that is how we ended up publishing that information in one of our alerts. Generally speaking, in cases like this where there is an error on the part of the ticketing company, we ask Bandsintown users to contact the ticketing company ([redacted] in this case) to seek a recourse. We can certainly provide our users with a point of contact at [redacted] for assistance in rectifying the issue and can also give our users an attachment of the subject feed from [redacted] so that they are able to provide proof of the error itself.  This is not resolved because the response is falsified and does not present the full scope of what took place. Furthermore, our website was removed/suspended from a network referred to as "Tone Fuse", a company that also employs the same employee in question. This was done in an act of retaliation and spite because of our decision to report the actions of the employee to Revdex.com.  At no time was our website ever in non compliance or violation of policy in relation to Tonefuse text ads. The employee ([redacted]) never gave warning or reason to believe our account with Tonefuse was in bad standing and we would challenge Bandsintown to provide evidence of such as we have proof that did not occur.As far as Bandsintown Amplified is concerned, there were multiple instances where we expressed our concern and frustration with the employee/account manager who was not acting in a professional manner. The employee went above and beyond reasonable means of resolve and chose to abuse power by suspending our account on multiple occasions as an act of discrimination. Emails attached indicate numerous requests made for a different account manager or supervisor to intervene, Bandsintown never replied or accommodated our requests. Emails attached also indicate our lack of interest in doing business with Bandsintown Amplified due to the constant hostility and inability to resolve issues with ads effectively. Emails attached further indicate the aggressive nature in which we were pursued to do business again after we had clearly removed all advertisement in relation to Bandsintown.We hereby opt to resolve complaint with our Tonefuse account reinstated and a formal apology from Tonefuse/Bandsintown Amplified. Rejection of this attempt to resolve will result in legal action and disclosure of events to press/media.

Review: I have "successfully" unsubscribed from daily advertising emails about 4 times, I have reached out to them via email to try to get unsubscribed, and I am still receiving emails. I never signed up for these emails in the first place, but that is another issue altogether.Desired Settlement: I want to actually be unsubscribed from ALL email communications immediately and permanently in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.
