Early on the week of 03/16/2018, my girlfriend called Bandy's to get an over the phone quote for repairs to my 2002 Ford F350, V10 Triton work truck. She was inquiring about an oil change and tune-up. She was quoted by a young man named Johnathan approx. $447.64, and was advised that communication would be conducted between myself and the shop prior to any additional costs/fees should they run into any other items that need repair. On 03/21/2018 I dropped off my vehicle and left the keys in the drop box. On Thursday afternoon, 03/22/2018 a call was received by a woman who never introduced herself, and acted as though she was being bothered by my questions about the repairs. She kept insisting that I upgrade my oil to Synthetic Oil, and I advised her that I did not want Synthetic Oil and to use regular oil, she reluctantly complied. However, she then advised that there was an ignition coil package that needs to be replaced and that the repair would be $557.64. I again questioned her as to what it exactly was for and requested more information about the part and frankly she seemed clueless. (for some one that has been in the business for 30+ years, her knowledge level and professionalism was seriously lacking). Today 03/23/2018 I went to pick up my vehicle and paid my bill in full. During the check out process, a young man, I am assuming was Johnathan, the person my girlfriend got the initial quote from, advised me that he was not able to get the #10 spark plug out, due to something being in the way to reach it, and did not replace plug or wire for the #10 plug. I asked at that time why would you not call me to advise of this incomplete repair. He stated that he called and left a voice mail which is a complete and quite telling bold face lie. 1st of all I do not have a Voice Mail on my phone, so there was no way to "leave a voice mail" AND there are no missed calls from Bandy's on my phone or my girlfriends phone as I previously gave permission for them to call her if I was not available. I asked immediately for a reduction in the repair cost not only because of the lack of communication, but also due to the fact that the repair was not complete. Ms. Moran-Bandy was standing there and overheard the entire conversation, a discount of $150.00 was requested and refused. Kept claiming that they called and left a message. As previously stated that was not the case, nor does a vice mail that never occured give permission to move forward with the repair or in this case a lack there of, no it does not. Had I actually been contacted I would have advised them to do whatever is necessary to get the #10 plug and wire replaced, they never did. Should they insist, a copy of their call log for that day would be something I would like to see, because it never happened. Anyone that knows anything about a tune-up on a vehicle knows that if you do not replace all plugs and wires, that not only is the tune up not complete, but it is negligence on the part of the repair company and the repair technician and definitely warrants either the completion of the repair at Bandy's expense, a full refund, and at the very least a significant discount. My truck, after spending $500+ dollars does not run any better today than it did when I took it to Bandy's for the repair. Besides the complete unprofessionalism of the Owners and Staff of the company, the fact that the very reason my vehicle was is the shop for repairs, is still not repaired and they refuse to acknowledge their error leads me to believe that this type of thing is a common practice for this company. It's very disappointing because a few years ago when Patrick Moran owned /ran this location, from what I have been told, the service was top notch 100% guaranteed service or they would make it right. Now that he is no longer there, word of mouth indicates shotty repair service and poor customer service and extremely rude staff/owner. After I left and drove my vehicle for a while the truck actually seems worse. I called back to demand a discount of $150.00 for the incomplete repair so I can apply it to taking it somewhere that the repairs will be completed completely and correctly, and was told that $80.00 was all she was willing to offer. I reluctantly advised that I would be there to pick up the funds. However, after her attitude upon collecting that $80.00, I am now requesting the assistance of your business in obtaining a full and complete refund of the remaining balance in the amount of $ 477.64.

I find the previous complaint on this company's profile with the Revdex.com very telling, that bait and switch tactics, unprofessional customer service habits, and extremely rude behaviour are the norm. And to think the last complaint resulted in an assault and this business refused to even reply to the complaint. To me that speaks volumes and they should be forced to respond and face the music so to speak. Should they not respond to this complaint, I will be following up with an Attorney General Complaint, a call to Channel ***, as well as utilize social media to the fullest extent possible including but not limited to filing a small claims court case against them where I will be requesting not only a full refund, but also for pain and suffering for the loss of use of my vehicle and the additional expense of having to pay for it to be repaired properly by another company.

hello I recently went to bandys automotive on Friday September 22nd 2017. I have been going here for awhile and I have had no problems with the people that work at this establishment up until now. the reason being is because I went there to have them install my rear shocks and my 4 cam bolts that I bought with my money and all they supposed to do was charge me the labor for the install. The mechanics ended up cutting my control arm without asking me and charged me for the mistake that they made. The lady that I spoke to regarding the price of the labor for the install of the parts that I had was 150 for the cam bolts and it was 35 dollars per shock so it was a total of 220 dollars that I was supposed to come out of pocket. A disagreement transpired because I tried to explain to the lady that I never told them to put those control arms on my car and she told the mechanics to do so and she told the mechanics to do so. She wanted me to pay for the control arms that they put on my car and pay for what I came there to do. I explained to lady at the desk that I would pay for the work that I came there for however I would not pay for the control arms that they put on my car because I did not come there for that service. the lady ended up getting real upset with me and told me that she would not give me my keys until I paid that amount. I went back to the house and grabbed more money and when I came back she told me that I owed her more money because of the labor that they did to get those control arms off my car which I never told them to do at all. the lady ended up getting really upset again and told me that she wanted me to leave which I agreed and I told her that I will pay her the 220 for the services that I came there to do which they did not even finish however to avoid confrontation I paid it . she then got mad because I would not pay for the mistake that they made and told the mechanics to grab my keys and they beat me up leaving me with injuries and they took my money out of my wallet.
