Installers and Mrs. [redacted], the client openly stated prior to the over the fireplace TV Installation she had recently completed drywall repair, paint and work in the same general area which the TV was being installed. The General Contractors who performed said work was also present, Mr. [redacted].Our Installers cut through the newly installed drywall using precision horizontal cuts, with the client’s and general contractor’s permission, to relocate the coaxial cable to the fireplace location. After the run was successfully located and the TV Installed over the fireplace, the client’s guest had used the bathroom facilities and our installers notice a trickle of water coming from an outlet approximately 7 feet to the left of the TV Installation.Our Installers informed Mrs. [redacted] of what they noticed and the General Contractor, Mr. [redacted], who sated he would take of the problem and asked the installers if they would cut more into the drywall in-order for him to see the source of the problem. Our Installers did so, without Pro Install Management’s authorization. Upon opening the wall with additional precision horizontal and vertical cuts the General Contractor was able to view the minor problem and did not determine the problem was caused by our Installers.At said moment, this (drain pipe leak) appeared to be a non issue with the Client and she proceeded to thank our Installers for their hard work and the great looking outcome of the TV Installation. At this time, Mrs. [redacted], remitted payment for the services performed by our Installers.Upon the Installers leaving the Residence, the Client called into our offices praising the outcome of the TV Installation and also mentioning there was a small problem. The client went on to say there was a small pinhole size puncture into a drain-pipe which was 14 – 16 inches from the floor and said her Contractor was present and could fix it. She said she would e-mail us photos of the pinhole size puncture, which she did. We then contacted the client and we spoke to the General Contractor who stated he would fix the issue for $50.00. After receiving the photo and speaking to Mrs. [redacted] and the General Contractor we informed Mrs. [redacted] we would be willing to send our Contractor by here home to access the situation because it wasn’t determined that we caused the issue, we only raised awareness.In short, Mrs. [redacted] stated she would not allow any one affiliated with PRO Install to enter her home because we are liars. She then began submitting quotes, via email, ranging from approximately $50 - $500 to repair and/or replace this 6 inch in length piece of PVC drain pipe.After becoming irritate and submitting such astronomical charges for something we did not commit, we proceeded to inform Mrs. [redacted] we would not be moving forward with this claim due to the nature of the situation and her reluctance to cooperate with our Contractors taking a look into the situation to determine the original cause.In conclusion, we do not warrant baseless claims nor customers who are unwilling to participate in our fact findings process. We have over 100 verifiable reviews on line at a 5star rating, in which we do not conduct business with individuals who are seeking an opportunity to swindle others out of home repairs not associated with our craftsmanship.
