I gave them 1 star because I couldn’t give a review. I learned a lesson check reviews even if it’s a big corporation. I had alot of problems with them but all the other reviews in yelp kind of sum up my complaints. Why haven’t they addressed all the things their clients have complained about? If they care about their reputation and the animals they would of improved.
I guess they are making enough. money and our reviews aren’t really hurting them. Go to Bandfield and get low class care and pay your high bill. My dog had surgery and had to go to Animal Specialy Center in Yonkers. 👎👎👎👎👎. for Bandfield Hospitals all over.

KILLERS!
If I could, I would rate Banfield with negative stars. Banfield killed my precious, bouncy, effervescent kitty and accepted ZERO RESPONSIBILITY for doing so. I won't go into details, simply because it's just too painful.

Mars Inc, yes, the candy company, owns Banfield. Both must be stopped. Please join me in signing this petition to stop the "Killing Field"...

Wellness plan cancelation
I have been trying to cancel my OPW's for 2 pets, I have had them before and was informed that if I contacted them I would be able to cancel with no problem. However, no there is a problem I am not able to cancel, they want to keep charging me monthly for plans I no longer will use just to pay back the Vet. I asked why cant I just be sent a bill so I can pay the vet cost and they just cancel both my plans. Once I was informed of the total price of the Vet cost, I informed them that I can pay that over the course of 6 months maybe less. I was then told that the wellness plan is a payment plan, I do not understand why I am going to be charged for 12 months for 2 pets for a plan they are no longer going to use. The wellness plan personnel informed me that they have no way of paying the vet any amount over the monthly payments ($38 and $31), which would leave me paying until over 600.00 have been paid to the vet. This is not a good business practice and not allowing a person to cancel a plan that clearly states (YOU CAN CANCEL AT ANYTIME), I will just have to pay the vet the remainder out of pocket.

They took the money out of my account on the 19th without my authorizationI have spoken to my bank and they said they did not authorize them to take that amount and that they requested updated VISA card informationNo where did I sign anything that bound me to an agreement for them to take what they want out of my account other than a monthly payment that I attempted to cancelThey were not authorized to take $out of my bank account on February 19thI am now left with "0" and children to care forIf I could afford $to pay them for some pet insurance, I would have done so on my own accordThis is not resolvedI want no further dealings with this company as they are dishonest and lack integrityIf I have to seek further legal assistance, I will do so as I have all documentation of phone calls to customer and to the local hospital that convinced to get this wellness plan Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Mr [redacted] did not have the authority to purchase the Wellness program even though he was acting with the best intentions As I stated in my original complaint We are a 501cnon-profit rescue organization I am not surprised that Banfield is attempting to justify its bullying marketing practices or its over inflated pricing structure You would think that they would at least want to show some kind of good faith by refunding more than the lousy $they gave us after cancelling a $Wellness program after only days of being in the program It's obvious that their profits come first It's not about patient care or customer relations We will never do business with ANY Banfield facility and we have advised our foster volunteer to take his own business elsewhere We will also be advising any adopter or potential adopter who gives a Banfield facility as a reference, to take their business elsewhere too and we will clearly explain why Thanks for nothing, Banfield
