Bang Hair Design Reviews (1)

I went to get my hair colored and it was completly healthy. When I left [redacted] the stylist had damaged it so bad it was falling out. It was so damaged she sent me home with my hair wet because she was scared if she blow dried it, it was fall out or break. Then gave me samples to put in my hair for damaged hair. It was so damaged and yellow I sent her a message asking her what we could do to fix it. Never got a reply and know she raf my message because it showed when she raff it. So I went else where to get it fixed. They did the best they could considering it was severly damaged. When I finally told her I wanted my money back and was willing to sue for it she told me no refunds. She was very unprofessional and don't care about messing up hair. Please don't let her do this to anyone else.Desired SettlementWhat I paid was 130.00 and had to get it fixed for 260.00Business Response Re: Case # [redacted]Revdex.comATTN: [redacted]This is in response to case #[redacted]I, [redacted]and [redacted], have owned "Bang Hair design" for two years. I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 13 years.I started working in Brownsville approximately 3 years ago.I worked at "[redacted]" in Brownsville 3 years ago and that is where I met the client. In my opinion, she is just someone who is never satisfied. But yet she still returns to my salon for services.I may not have the exact date of her service, but I believe it was August 23rd The client did not have an appointment. She was a walk-in customer. We had several clients here that day and I have witnesses that can testify to all of this.We started with the consultation of what she would like done to her hair. She said she wanted her hair as light (as in blonde) as possible. She specified no yellow. She always says that. But any stylist knows that blonde brings out gold tones. Her hair naturally pulls these color tones. After she told me what she wanted, she told me the last person to highlight her hair made it yellow, but in my professional opinion, it was not yellow. It looked like a normal blonde hi-light and I told her that. She continued to complain about that other stylist also.I specifically told her that we would have to bleach all of her hair from scalp to the ends, and if it still looked yellow to her that I would put a toner on it.I knew in advance she would say it's yellow.I Alson told her this is a double process service and that it still had color on it from where ever she went last time, that her hair would be dry on the ends and would need professional products daily to repair it and keep it healthy. She agreed to everything. The salon was busy that day so when it was time for her color to be washed out [redacted] had time to shampoo her for me. When she was at the shampoo bowl, she told [redacted] every time she goes to a professional she is never satisfied. I then dried her hair with the hair dryer and she said it was yellow, so I put a toner on it! Then I washed the toner when it was done processing. I shampooed and conditioned her hair and when we got to the chair she decided she wanted brown put in it (low lites) (3rd process in the same day). When the brown was washed out and conditioned, that was the 3rdprocess and the 3rd shampoo and conditioner. So I suggested to let it air dry because I had already completely dried it once. I suggested this to prevent more damage to her hair, and she agreed.I gave her free sample products, because I do this for most of my clients. This is a professional way to make a sale to clients. She paid and left. I never heard from her again until the following Tuesday, from an inbox on [redacted].I never heard from her over the phone, only via inbox on [redacted].I don't look at [redacted] a lot, but just happened to see it, and next thing I know she is going to sue me.She had her mother try to contact my business partner, unsuccessfully. The customer never contacted me personally about the above matter.Thank you for your time and consideration,[redacted]Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The facts stated in [redacted] statement are very untruthful. I would have never agreed for anyone to put color on my hair intentionally knowing it was going to damage it. It was so yellow when she finished that my child made a statement "I hope your not walking out of here like that". I have been to [redacted] in the past and NEVER complained about my hair. I'm not the kind of person to complain a lot and I'm not sure where she is coming up with this. It's very disturbing and upsetting. My hair is severely damaged and she knew that when I left her salon. In her statement she said she told me it would be damaged. That's very untrue but is admitting my hair is damaged with no intention nor care to fix the problem. This is very unprofessional and I just cant see where it would be acceptable. I paid [redacted] with cash and she does not give receipts. The only proof I have is pictures of my hair damaged and a statement from my mother that seen my hair as soon as I got home.I tried getting in touch with [redacted] over that weekend and saw where my message showed read, but did not respond. The following Monday I was out of town so my mother call her salon....no return call for either number read. She finally replied to a message I left on facebook which was very rude and uncaring for what she had done to my hair.Final Business Response Dear [redacted],The statements in [redacted] response are false.I offered to fix her hair but she told me she already had it fixed. As she mentioned in her posting on [redacted], she was not going to allow me to do her hair anyway.Bang Hair Design does give receipts. We are a business. Any customer who would like a receipt just has to ask their stylist and we will gladly provide them with a receipt.I only speak to the client directly, unless they are a minor (under 18). Since [redacted] is an adult, I don't have any reason to talk to her mother! Our salon is closed on Sunday's and Monday's. My cell phone is for my personal use only and not for business purposes. The salon number is posted in the phone book and on a sign outside ot the salon door.My response to her message was short, due to her hostile tone and threat to sue.I am including all the messages I received through Facebook so that you can see how hostile and slanderous her messages have been.I will no longer be victimized by her slanderous remarks to me or my salon.Sincerely,[redacted]
