They did good work, however, my daughter had a huge collection of LP records and some 45`s stored in my basement. They were in my basement before the guys showed up. But they were not there after they left. And they are not owning up to it. They replaced my furnace and coil for the central air so there were a lot of boxes going in and out of their truck. The albums were stacked in full view so you could not miss seeing them, but the owners wife said when she questioned them, they claimed to have never seen them.

Review: In 2011 Banjaks installed our AC. May 2014 the AC stopped working so I called Banjaks to come look at it, they said it was low in coolant so they refilled it and we paid them $190.June 2014 the AC stops working again, so I call and they come out free if charge to look at it. This time they claim there is a leak in the coil that holds the coolant (how did they not see this before) the part is under warranty so we are told we will have to pay $300 ($70/hr) in labor.July 2, 2014 they come to replace the coil they are at our house for 1hr30min ($105) on our bill they charged us $300. My husband calls to question the charges and the owner of this business precedes to yell at my husband and use foul language all while giving strange excuses for the charges: they charged $70 for the office woman to order the part, $70 for the tech to drive and pick up the part, $90 to replace the coolant that leaked out from their June visit when they found the leak. Then he abruptly hangs up. So I call to see if I can get an answer the minute I told the gentleman who I was and what I was calling about he started swearing at me and refused to answer any of my questions regarding the bill. He finally ended the conversation with "if you don't give me my money we are going to have problems" then he hung up. This man was one if the rudest people I have ever met I have never been talked to like that in my life. I would never recommend this business.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the $90 worth of coolant that leaked out during the time we were waiting for a part and for the $70 for the receptionist to order our part that I was not notified about. I don't believe I should be charged for the time it took the tech to get the part. I feel he should be paid for the time spent repairing it.

Review: On 12/19/11 we called Banjak Heating to fix our furnace they replaced the primary control. On 11/14/14 we called Banjack to fix the furnace again it acted exactly like it did in 2011, we thought maybe the part was under warranty (it had a 1 year warranty we found out later). So they sent a serviceman out and after inspecting the primary control (that we assumed was the issue) he determined it was bad and put on a new one but after working on the furnace for 45 minutes insisted that the entire burner unit need replaced ($800) and/or the entire furnace ($2,500+) furnace and installation.Later that evening, the owner called and said he needed to come out and inspect the furnace to determine what all would be involved in replacing the unit, so that he could give us a price on the installation. He called several times the following day, but we were in the process of contacting another repair man for a second opinion. The second repair man was at our house for no more than 10 minutes and determined the primary control (which is what we thought was wrong in the first place) was, in fact, the problem and the only problem. He replaced it in less than 15 minutes, for $80, and the furnace has worked fine ever since. We paid Banjak $104 for a service call that did not fix the problem, even though the problem was exactly what we thought and what he said he changed. So we can only assume he was trying to sell us a new furnace that we do not need.Desired Settlement: We would like the amount of the service call refunded.

Following receipt of this complaint and speaking with my technician and owner of the Company. Our response to this complaint is as follows. Yes we were contacted by the consumer in December 2011 and were at the residence on 12/19/2011 and did replace their oil primary control. The consumer again contacted us in November of 2014 due to the oil furnace not lighting and I set our service technician to their residence. The technician did change the primary again and ran the unit, however the unit quit running during his observation. The technician than advised the consumer of the issues that he observed from running the furnace. The consumer informed the service technician that she needed to speak with her husband and would call the office. At that time, the consumer was just charge a trip charge and 1/2 hour labor. The consumer was not charged for the new primary that was installed. After a few hours, I informed the owner of the Company the issue with this consumer and asked him to follow up with the consumer, since they were without heat. The owner attempted to contact this consumer that day and the following day without any response from the consumer. This consumer never contacted this company regarding their furnace issues or complaint. The part that was put on December 19, 2011 did have a 1 year warranty, however that warranty would have been up on December 19, 2012.
