Below is the response to the complaint submitted to the Revdex.com on 06/29/and assigned with an ID ***.Bank First National did have a commercial relationship with Mr***. When Mr*** began deviating from his original business plan and took a more aggressive path, the Bank became
increasingly uncomfortable with that deviation. There were communications with Mr*** to reach a plan that would both satisfy Mr***’s new plan and Bank First’s need to mitigate what was perceived as increasing risk. Common ground was not attained. When Mr***’s line of credit came due, it was communicated to him that it would not be renewed. It was also suggested that Mr*** take his other commercial loans to a place that would better accommodate his needs. We are pleased Mr*** has found a good fit, but the contracts between Bank First and he were terminated and, as a result, prepayment penalties were incurred. Review: A week or 2 ago, Bank First opened a new branch office in Appleton. They advertised (e.g., Post-Crescent 22/3/16 p.4C, 2/5/16 p.8A) a very attractive Money Market Account as a Grand Opening Special. The fine print in the ad noted that the offer was "not valid on funds transferred from existing Bank First National accounts." While I am the owner of such an existing BFN account, I attempted to open a Money Market Account USING NEW MONEY without disturbing my existing BFN account, and was refused. Since nothing in the ad disqualified me from partaking in the new offer, their refusal was arbitrary and constituted false advertising. I want to open one of these new Money Market Accounts in the amount of $100,000, as per their advertised offerDesired Settlement: I want to open one of these new Money Market Accounts in the amount of $100,000 as per their advertised offer.
