Had an awning installed and has leaked from day one and is still leaking and company pretty much doesn't care any more and feels it my problem to deal with

This letter is in response to the Revdex.com complaint filed by *** ***. There are several inaccuracies I would like to correct as well as to respond to some of the charges
She maintains that *** Industries admits that this was made out of a "bad batch of vinyl", but she later
states that it was done on purpose. She also alleged we knowingly made the panels from bad vinyl
There are several problems with those statements
*** Industries or Canton Aluminum would have no prior knowledge that any of the vinyl panels were bad. Secondly the panels are not defective or damaged in any way other than the color has faded. Fading is a natural process that happens with vinyl parts. Ms*** stated that she power washed her room many times and this could have contributed to the fading. Even if new material is used, there is no warranty against fading. It has been about years since the room was installed
We brought *** Industry's V.Pof operations over and he suggested getting the room professionally painted
We then brought a professional painter who would use ***-*** paint for vinyl and his opinion was he could make it look like new. As a good will gesture, we offered to pay for the painting at no cost to the homeowner. She told me to go ahead then she called back the next day (July 28,2014) and told me to hold off on the painting and she would get back to me. We did not hear any more from her until we received the complaint she filed with the Revdex.com
Canton Aluminum purchases material from manufacturers or distributors for three and four season rooms, insulated window and doors. We install the materials and the homeowners have a two year guarantee on our labor. Any warranty for material is provided by the manufacturer of the material and fading is not warrenteed. Canton Aluminum would not knowingly install any defective material of any kind on a customer's home
The rollers are here to fix the door and all she has to do is call to schedule an appointment as someone has to be home in order to take care of this

AFTER SEVERAL TRIPS TO HER HOUSE TO CAULK AND SEAL THE SEAMS OF THE ROOF, WE REMOVED THE GUTTER ON 9/24/PER HER CONSTRUCTION FRIEND'S AND HER NEIGHBOR'S SUGGESTION. SHE CALLED ON 6/5/SAYING THE ROOF WAS LEAKING AGAIN AND SHE DIDN'T WANT ANYMORE CAULKING DONE. WE FELT THAT THE
PROBLEM WAS THE MAIN ROOF BY THE VALLEY AREA BECAUSE IT DID NOT LEAK ALL THE TIME. WE HAVE NEVER CHARGED HER A SERVICE CHARGE. WE TRIED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM AND WE HAVE COVERED A PORTION OF HER EXPENSE FOR THE PRESENT COVERING OF THE PATIO ROOF.
WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSES PERTAINING TO THIS ROOF

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

As stated numerous times by Marty/*** Industries, Canton Aluminum has never had any sunrooms other than the one in Canada fade that was constructed from the "bad batch of vinyl"I do not know where the panels or extrusions came from as these were all part of the Canton Aluminum package/agreement that I paid forI strongly feel that this company and *** Industries should stand behind their word/product sold to me which was a "bad batch of vinylI do not care who or where the extrusions were purchased nor do I care who makes the paint to paint vinylI purchased this sunroom in vinyl so I should not have to paint as stated by Marty when I signed the contract to have this builtIs this what Canton Aluminum does is build sunrooms then go around and paint them years later? Yes the sunroom just turned years old but it was constructed from "bad vinylThey have not replied as to when the one in Canada was painted
In Closing:
How dare Canton Aluminum and *** Industries come on my property years later and admit to me that they built by sunroom out of a "bad batch of vinyl" and the easiest way for them was to have it paintedI strongly feel that I will never get anywhere nor get what I paid forI feel I deserve as the customer that I should of gotten what I paid for and signed forI am sorry I ever purchased this sunroom from Marty/Canton Aluminum/*** IndustriesI will NOT recommend this company to anyone

As stated earlier Canton Aluminum has a two year warrantee on labor.  The extrusions and wall panels are not guaranteed against fading.  Vinyl window manufacturers paint vinyl windows to customer color preference.  This was suggested by the room manufacturer.  We then brought a professional painter who would use [redacted] paint for vinyl and his opinion was he could make it look new.  We offered to do this as an act of good will even though the room is ten years old.
If the homeowner wants new extrusions and wall panels she will have to cover the cost for material and labor.
