Our customer was provided an inaccurate estimated monthly payment if he was to choose an extended repayment term of 25 years. The customer service representative miscalculated the payment because the unpaid outstanding interest was not taken...

Bank of North Dakota (BND) worked with the customer to come up with an agreeable resolution. The misquoted $166 monthly payment does not benefit the borrower as that payment does not cover the accrued monthly interest on his loans. BND is working with the customer to consolidate his loans, which will allow the customer to lower his interest rate on his loans and extend the repayment term. This will result in a manageable monthly payment for the borrower. As of 1/15/2016, both parties are satisfied with this resolution.
