Review: Good afternoon,

I was a long term customer at the Bank of Oakfield, (roughly 8-10 years). For the past ten years, I have lived in Madison WI and I have been fairly far away from the bank. I have requested to have my login information several times over the past two years and they have never allowed me to login through online banking. I have basically moved on to a new bank but I have yet to cancel the Bank of Oakfield account because my car payment was coming out of it. Today I received a letter in the mail saying I was overdrawn $55, this was news to me because I do monitor the account from time to time through their phone application but that is clearly offline more than it is online. Today I called the bank and spoke to two very nice people and then was transferred to the President of the Bank, [redacted] had me on speakerphone the whole time which is very unprofessional but also talked down to me and called me a liar when I went over my login issues. He explained that a payment was taken out for $10 in the beginning of December and they were basically taking $5 a day for overdraft. The last time I over drafted my car payment on accident a person from the bank called me the same day ( I actually thought that was good customer service but now it was nothing more than a request to get money). This time I didn't get an email (which they have had on file) a phone call but a letter dated Dec. 29th. I received that today, 1/6/16.

The main issue is not the money, the issue is with the way the President of the bank spoke to a 8 -10 year customer. He talked down to me and called me a liar and was not willing to give me his direct extension so I can call back to cancel my account once and for all. I simply wanted the charges to be cleared since nobody at the bank called me and gave me the necessary information to login through the web. I ask you to try to go to their website and register for an online login -- here is their website -- https://www.bankofoakfield.com/

You will have the same issues I have, then you can call there and they will tell you that someone will call them or send out a letter that never comes... Seriously unimpressed by the bank and their President.Desired Settlement: Refunded $50 for overdraft fee's -- will pay the $30 for the $10 payment and $20 overdraft.

In fact, during our conversation, I was attempting to ask Mr. [redacted] questions trying to get to the root of the issue.
