It is still our position that the salesperson did not recommend or mention  advice to [redacted] against rental insurance.  As a goodwill of Banner,  we will provide two days of courtesy transportation as long as the repair work is done at Banner Chevrolet.  [redacted] must provide insurance, valid license a credit card for incidentals.  This is a one time exception..  Accept this offer as our last reply to this matter.

I do not accept the response due to the fact that the sales rep did tell me that my car was under warranty and that I have rental in my warranty. What the sales rep fail to tell me that it did not cover physical damage and it only covered mechanical damage. He did not tell me this ALL HE TOLD ME WAS THAT I DID NOT NEED RENTAL INSURANCE ON MY VEHICLE BECAUSE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY SO I WOULD GET A RENTAL IF ANYTHING HAPPEND. I WOULD HAVE PURCHASE RENTAL INSURANCE THROUGH MY AGENT.

verified in [redacted] written complaint.  The salesperson Larry H[redacted] admitted he advised [redacted] she did not need to duplicate the extended mechanical warranty being offered by the insurance company.  The fact is GM will provide alternate/rental for warranty service and [redacted] stated Mr. H[redacted] told her.  [redacted] missed understood advice to decline extra warranty from the insurance company vs. rental insurance caused by physical damage.

Review: On April 12, 2014 a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado was purchased and returned. The vehicle was in excellent condition. The vehicle was returned to Banner Chevrolet because a better deal was secured with another dealership (Newer vehicle,less mileage,& slightly cheaper). The Banner Chevrolet fleet manager said that it would take ten business days to receive the $4,000.00 down payment refund. The refund was never received (via check by mail or electronic funds). On the 12th business day I contacted Banner Chevrolet regarding the refund (4-5 voice messages were left before my call was returned). The sales manager informed me that I would need to come into the dealership and present the receipts to be signed off before a refund could be issued. This information was not given to me when I initially returned the vehicle. If it had, I would have come in with my receipts instead of repeatedly calling and leaving voice messages. I happened to be out of town and was unable to come into the dealership for the refund. On May 12th I returned to Banner Chevrolet to receive my refund. My receipts were signed off by the sales manager and given to the fleet manager to cut a refund check. To my surprise, the fleet manager told me that my refund check could not be issued because it required signatures from staff whom were not present. There was no attempt by the fleet manager to find an alternate solution to this problem.As of May 13th I do not have my $4,000.00 refund from Banner Chevrolet. The misinformation and extremely poor customer service is inexcusable. Everything that Banner Chevrolet required me to do for the refund was fulfilled. Banner Chevrolet failed to adhere to their own polices and as a result I'm currently waiting for my refund.Desired Settlement: I just want my refund. It has been over 30 days and this could have been prevented if the correct information was given out initially.

Mr [redacted] brought his receipt for a refund of the purchase of a vehicle from Banner, May 12th. Refund check number 270223, was mailed to Mr. [redacted] May 13th and cleared Bannerr Chevrolet's bank account May 16th.

Banner Chevrolet would have responded sooner to this Revdex.com concern, had the initial request fromm Revdex.com had not been screened by the dealership's spam marshal.
